I made this without the ribs, brown sugar, butter, mustard, or seasoning. I just drank the bottle. Delicious!

Does smoking things that are completely wrapped in foil do anything?
Or are you just wanting the heat in a smoker?
That's what I was thinking. Probably could just transfer them to the oven after putting them in the foil pan for a more consistent temp.
