It's likely they'll be resolved before release, but we've seen games before that don't resolve stuff. World's multiplayer was a mess on release.

The monster hunter RUclips channel live-streamed ps5 gameplay of the scarlet forest a little over a month ago and it looked really good in terms of performance. The beta is at least a 4 month old build of the game, so the gameplay we saw of the scarlet forest is the best preview we have rn.
I mean does it have the exact same shit story and characters to a certain extent like every single other MH game? I have over 2000 hours in MHW and its one of my favourite games but Death Stranding was the Game of the Decade for me so if its sequel comes out same year, Imma like it more even though most people won't

If you want the monsters to focus on you so you can parry them, then they added some slinger ammo that lures them to you. But it's up to you on whether you want to solo hunt or not
Watching the monsters fight each other like a wildlife cameraman, and then realizing you got picked as a target and running away :D What a truly wonderful game this is going to be
I remember trying Monster Hunter World on the PS4, there was a trial or a free weekend for it, but for whatever reason it did resonated with me though I still enjoyed watching streamers/youtubers play it. After watching this video I'm definitely interested in giving the franchise another try especially with Layna mentioning there being quality of life updates that might make it a better jump in point for the series.
I love that Layna didn't use the dungpods to disperse the pack. I think the more monsters, the more chaos and fun a hunt is so I never pick up or use dung pods. It makes it a lot more hectic and entertaining! Definitely going to catch Layna playing through this when the game releases.

average mh experience when me and my friend play, been like this in world and rise always 3-5 monsters in 1 area, never learned to bring dung pots xD

The number of weapon counters and offset parry attacks theyve added to this makes me think Capcom is encouraging more solo play

Layna, why are you not aiming for the head? The legs, arms, body and tail are almost pointless to Hammer outside of aiming for Focus Strikes.

As someone who played the demo I could solo all the monster except rey dau in 20 minutes or less
What weapon are you using?
It’s usually 15-20 minutes average per hunt, and around 10 or less if you mastered the hunt
