And that's a reviewer. You almost sold it for me. Informative and direct to the point but complete and detailed. Great basses, I preferred the AGB200.

I love the sound of the 200 the most but both basses sound pretty dam cool. Love the bass playing also.

According to Sam Ash, in 2019, Ibanez switched to Lindenwood for the body. Probably cheaper than Maple.

Nice comprehensive review. Has anyone tried flatwounds on the 200? I'd be very interested to hear what that sounds like

Great video with excellent audio! As nice as the cherry finish is on the back sides and neck, it would’ve been nice if they made the top cherry also. Apparently they don’t offer the AGB260 since you made this video two years ago. Despite the foam green color not being my favorite choice, this model I think has better and more versatile tone plus kicks more than the AGB200. Is the truss rod adjustment nut accessed at the headstock like a Gibson?

I’m considering getting one of these to set up for ADGC. Should work really well with the 30 inch scale length.

I would not call the neck on mine skinny. Not huge either. But definitely not skinny.
And “very, very light” in my case is 8 Lbs. not heavy, but definitely not “ very very light”.
I really like the thing. I’m going to put flatwound strings on it.

You forgot to mention that these have a shorter 30 inch scale ! According to the 2008 catalogue.

it seems the AGB260 no longer exists. Pity, it was an interesting contrast to the 200.

Do you have the E string tuned down to D?? It is an octave below the fifth fret on the A string. What's with that?

I’m having a lot of trouble with the action on mine. Can’t seam to find a sweet spot between the bridge height and truss rod.. action is super high or very buzzed..no middle ground. Any tips or pointers? I’m not familiar with these types of bridges as I normally play a Pbass

Might try a higher tension string.

Try setting it up with medium scale flatwound strings, unless you’ve already solved it?

"more character than a bland precision bass pickup" Did you hear yourself say that? You seem like a nice guy and you caught me in a good mood, so I gave a thumbs up in spite of this terrible heresy. Please be more careful.

P basses are great instruments don't get me wrong but, I can definitely understand why some people would think its bland, both in looks and sound because of its ubiquity in the music industry. With that being said, clever phrasing lol
