Did you notice differences in the performance, etc. between now and your previous one in the beginning of the tour?
Thank you very much 😊 this show specifically was a bit different to the others on the tour that I'd attended as it was outdoors, so different acoustics to the concert halls they'd performed at in the UK. Besides that, everything is tighter and better rehearsed now (which makes sense) and the rapport between Jeff and Johnny continues to be really wonderful. There's also been changes to the set list ("What's Going On" and "Let It Be Me" have been replaced with "Rumble" and "Venus in Furs," and the placement during the set of "The Death & Resurrection Show" and "A Day in the Life" have been switched). One of my favourite changes musically has been that Johnny now plays the 12 string acoustic during "A Day in the Life," rather than the electric he had used previously -- I think the tone and colour of the acoustic are much better suited to JD's part in that song and the fantastic arrangement is even more evident as a result. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of the collaboration between Jeff and Johnny and how much I enjoy their work (both live and on the new album), I really hope they'll continue to work together and bless us with more albums 😊🎸🎶💗

Having seen the outdoor concert in Helsinki , I wish I'd also seen them in an indoor setting. For comparison, better view and different acoustics.
It's going to be interesting to see if they do something different in the last Paris gig.
@@dorothy9633 Thank you so very much for this amazing footage, Dorothy! I saw Jeff and Johnny in Offenbach on the 6th and even had the pleasure of meeting John before the show. I must say, the show was incredible and I could also sense a certain tightness in their performance which seemed to be much stronger than during the earlier shows of the tour, which I had watched on RUclips (e.g. Sheffield or London). I was pleasantly surprised to witness their first ever live performance of "Venus In Furs", since it is perhaps my favourite of their covers. The addition of "Rumble" was also, certainly, a smart move since it creates an even more exciting entrance for Johnny! Anyways, let's hope that after this last Paris date tonight, the two of them will collaborate again soon.

@@OwenMiller-ge5lo U must B from a younger generation. Depp originally went 2 Hollywood with his band to make it in music- didn't happen. Band fell apart, his 1st wife got him an audition thru Nicholas Cage 4 "Nightmare on Elmstreet," and the rest is history. Prior 2 that film, he'd never acted. What does that tell you aside from not making the music scene??! 🤔
@@harrychapin808 he still had to be a good actor to pass the auditions for ALL THE OTHER MOVIES HE WAS IN, and yeah, I am from a younger generation, but I’m also not stupid. I’m also a guitarist and I can tell you that though he’s not exactly a virtuoso, he’s a tight player ( besides when he plays slide guitar).

@@harrychapin808 actors do have to pass auditions to get into movies, or at least most movies. There are usually a ton of actors auditioning for the role, the the actor that best suits the role is picked.
