Hi, Robb. Thanks for the review. So I bought one. In the lower left of the display is a circular symbol that randomly blinks on and off. Any idea what it means?
Got one similar and put a 2gm weight on it. I made sure it was in CT mode. I use it to weigh 1982 pennies singular. I get 250 or lower and 307 to 316. I'm assuming the 307 are the copper pennies.
Those are great little scales. I have one that weighs in grains also. It’s perfect for checking the consistency of pellet weights for air guns or reloading firearms.
@@RobbsHomemadeLife We should both undertake a little project today, weighing the chopsticks we launch out of our Crosman air pistols. I have a 1322 converted into a 14.5” barrel carbine with the accessory, removable buttstock. I pumped it up and shot an 18” bamboo skewer at a tomato can at about 15 feet away. It went through one side and poke about three quarters of an inch out the other. I think it could be made into a short range ,emergency fishing tool with my old Shakespeare spinning reel ,duct tapped to the barrel. I’m going to try and muster the guts to try it this year. If things mess up and it swings around back at me, it’s been great knowing you.😁👍 I always envied the guys I would run across in the Louisiana bayous bow fishing for garfish.
I love these little pocket dope scales. The one I have has a counting feature which comes in real handy when counting small electronic and mechanical components that I need to repack. The only dope it sees is me. LOL
You can add some non porous paper to the top of the scale and then add any powder or material he wanted to weigh with no problem provided it was within the weight limits of the scale
I have this exact scale and I calibrated it, but the readings(numbers) keeps going nuts! Or, I get the message O LD. Can you help me figure out what's wrong? I put new batteries in it too.
Hello Scott, if it's brand-new and you've never used it before I would ask for a refund. If it worked fine and it has just started acting up I would open it up and see if there are any wires that are loose. I would leave it on and move things around inside and see if the display changed when you touch something maybe something is loose. If it got wet or overheated the electronics could have been affected but really I'm just guessing. Good luck.
Just my personal thoughts on gram scales, if you *aren't* needing better resolution ( _3 decimal places to the right_ ), and you want a GRAM scale, for a lot of various uses, like food prep, soap making, mail, etc, then one might consider getting a 500 gram scale (17.637 ounces), same price +/-. If you are only measuring medicine, then 100 grams (3.5274 ozs) is fine. To get a higher resolution can almost triple your cost.
@@RobbsHomemadeLife Oh heck, I actually posted that for the public at large Sir, sorry, I wasn't aiming that at you specifically, I am actually not that arrogant, not intentionally anyway! LOL :) Thanks for the reply though, and Happy New Year! :)
With these cheap sales sometimes its best to buy the ones that go up to 100gram max. Because you can buy a 100gram calibration weight for cheap. But if you get the scale with 500gram max load , then you have to buy a 500gram calibration weight. And sometimes that will actually cost more than the scale itself lol
I used a scale a lot back in the early 80's. It was for my side business.
I used to sell coins a lot and always got funny looks buying bulk lots of tiny plastic bags at Office depot.
Rob usually weighs grams and ounces.. Well, that explains his laid back personality 👍

Steven I was going to check on that for you but I can't seem to find the darn scale.

John, I don't know if this one has a counting feature.
Mine will not go below .04. I'm using it to weigh pills and was hoping I could gradually take less til I get down to nothing.
Nice scale
I have a balance scale for reloading bullets.
Its kinda finicky.
Maybe this could be easier for me.
Yeah a balance scale is a bit rickety with small stuff.
Is it any good for weighing loose soot ?

Did it last and was it accurate?

The scale of choice by all top ten drug dealers. LOL. Happy New Year, Robb.
hey Deb, happy and HEALTHY New Year to you too!
Mine broke as soon as I got it
That's terrible, hope you got a refund.
