Thanks for your content, you helped me find the right path in learning english, there is a problem i think many people have which is routine in daily learning. can you make a video about that? Thankful ❤❤❤
Hi Natee, I wonder if you've heard of the AUA Thai Program and the ALG approach because you're from Thailand and you've mentioned AJ Hoge, who attended the program in Bangkok when he was researching the best methods to teach English. I also went to Thailand to attend the program because I couldn't find classes like it anywhere else, where adults could pick up a language just by watching and listening, without study or translation. On my channel I have many videos to help beginners understand and learn English that way, no matter what their first language is. I talk about many things and have fun conversations in English, using lots of visuals and repetition all the time to make it easy even for total beginners to understand. Check it out, I think you might find it interesting :) Great work you're doing by the way! -Kristian
Hi Kristian. Thanks for checking out my videos. I've never heard of that program. I’m actually surprised to hear it’s a Thai program. I checked out your channel and did find your videos interesting. They seem geared towards beginners, which I find very challenging to teach, so great job on that!
@@EngFluentTV Hi Natee, the ALG approach and the Thai program that was at AUA in Bangkok was developed by an American linguist there named J. Marvin Brown. I found that many people in Thailand were familiar with AUA, but it seemed like few of them knew about that particular program. I read Brown's autobiography and became kind of obsessed with it, so I eventually went to Thailand to experience it firsthand. Thanks for checking out my channel! Teaching beginners can definitely be challenging-my goal with my videos is for people who don't know any English at all to find it easy to just watch them and start to understand and pick up English right away. I'm still trying to get better at this, but I think my experiences with acquiring languages from scratch by just watching and guessing, like with Thai at AUA, have helped me a lot with knowing what can really help beginners. If you're interested in learning more about this approach or anything else, I'd be happy to connect and share ideas!
I don’t think this approach to learning new words is a good idea. If you set a goal to learn 20 words a day but focus on memorizing word meanings without context, it's not very effective. Personally, I build my vocabulary by simply listening and reading things I enjoy. I never think about how many words I learn each day.

If I am a beginner, how many words a day should I learn?
