It should but it has to be separated eg., small door, wheel, n co especially using 3dsmax. I don't know about other softwares

@@MJCdesigns how do you cut the hole with the shift and selected slab? Because I've been doing over and over but it ain't working, please

When you select the item(slab), make sure you have activated the slab tool on the left also by just clicking it... And make sure the shape you want to separate has been drawn using lines, fill or slab. And it most be drawn on the main slab you selected/picked. Then hold down shift and click the shape you drew. Watch the video again... You will understand.
