Jeremy Lin dominates in first CBA Playoff Game - Beijing vs Fujian 8/2/20

  • Jeremy Lin and the Beijing Ducks blew out the Fujian Sturgeons in the CBA quarterfinals of the 19-20 season. Jeremy Lin had 26 points and 5 assists, and did not need to play at all in the 4th quarter.
    The ducks will play the Guangdong Southern Tigers next in the semi-finals. The Guangdong Tigers will be a much more formidable match given its roster of Yi Jianlian, Sonny Weems, and Marshon Brooks.

    Lin is certainly a skilled player but I think it's his basketball IQ that really sets him apart. Another interesting thing I see in these highlights is that he seems slow down on purpose. He's been playing at a much higher pace in the NBA and the ability to realize you're going to need to slow down a little bit to allow a play to develop is impressive.

    Jeremy Lin is in a special class. This dude had two season ending injuries (arguably career ending) and came back to absolutely blow folks out the water. There’s a reason Toronto picked him up. This dude is ridiculously technical and has tremendous ball IQ. He simply did not get the recognition he deserves for whatever reason (I’m not gonna stipulate on that). Better than so many players in the NBA. I mean if Dudley is still in🤷🏽‍♂️... The CBA is extremely competitive as they have greater access to the European and Afro leagues. I absolutely love the NBA but don’t be blinded by its hype. Why do you think it’s getting harder and harder for Team USA to win on the world stage? Not because the talent pool is shrinking in the US, it’s because the rest of the world has gotten better.

    NBA messed up with Lin. China is already a huge market. Having Lin in the NBA would just be a no-brainer in getting more in roads into that.

      @metsrus 4 года назад

      nah injuries failed him...they gave him a couple of shots as an nba starter, but he couldn't take the physicality of the nba for the long haul. Lin's body is just not built for the nba, heck he was even complaining recently how the CBA is too rough for him and refs not protecting him enough.

    • @khoado123
      @khoado123 4 года назад

      Abe McGee again, typical thought when it comes to Asian players in NBA. His body is not built for NBA... dude is 6”4 215lbs. They treated him unfairly as hell in NBA. Watch the video “how NBA failed Lin” and you’ll know how NBA treated him

    • @metsrus
      @metsrus 4 года назад

      @@khoado123 I followed Lin's career in the nba, i know how they treated him. After the Linsanity thing, he wasn't overlooked, he actually got more opportunities than he should have. It was injuries that set him back. Just because you have the height, doesn't mean you have an nba body. Lin had borderline nba all star skills, and had he been more durable to play full nba seasons, i think he would have made a couple of all star games. But like I said the physicality of the nba was too much, and not just because he was asian. I believe there is something more sinister behind the scene, like the rampant use of PEDs in the nba, giving players a physical edge.

    You can tell that Jeremy Lin is way more relaxed and comfortable without all the racist BS weighing him down while in the NBA - and Lin is able to unleash his full potential!

    TO ALL THE HATERS FOR JEREMY LIN WHO THINKS HE SHOULDN'T BE IN THE NBA.
    .
    When he was playing for Knicks that "One month wonder" now who's fault is that? Jeremy Lin was always playing his game, He never had playing time unless the team is winning by 30 or if the team just forfeits.
    .
    When he was playing for knicks every main player was injured, the Knicks had no options but to use Lin. He had nobody except maybe average players except (Tyson Chandler). Nobody knew J.Lin style of play. So yes!!!!!! he was getting buckets. After that, the teams analyzed and caught up on how he plays.
    .
    He was still getting good stats, you guys should look up his stats.
    .
    It was injuries, politics and exaggerated media that made Lin mediocre player. Stephen A. Smith was always bashing on him
