- Hello RUclipsrs! I've been dying for a CHANGE! What better way to introduce a low commitment updo than by getting some curtain bangs for added volume in the front! Curtain bangs are typically shorter in the center and longer on the sides with wispy ends that blend into the rest of your hair. Girls if you are not ready to commit to a full fringe, a curtain bang is a great length to start at and they will create softness and balance around your face. Today I'm giving you a step-by-step tutorial on how to cut your own curtain bangs at home. There are several other tutorials out there for curtain bangs (steps that are cut short) but I feel that some of them don't give the best results as the bangs end up looking chunky and boxy. By all means give them a try if you think they might do the job for you!

Love the cut technique, I cut mine again after my hairdresser just did bc I wanted them a little shorter which when I Went to cut them I said ummmm a bit more complicated than I thought to follow that kind of cut line lol anyway so I followed your way and I like them better but THEN!! The magic happened with that hot air brush bc literally everyone goes curls under (as you first demonstrated) instead of rolling back and Jesus Christ this whole time there it was…the brush direction change has solved my lifelong most difficult unruly asshole bangs on earth problems!!! thank you SO much for sharing!

Because I didn't have any 😊 but had it not been for my impatience, buying myself a pair would have been the right thing to do for a perfect cut ✂️😉! My little scissors worked out well in the end but I'm sure it would have been a lot easier with the right ones!
