Gears 2 and 3 were the highlight of my life. Those games literally had a chokehold on me and is my favorite game to this day. It’d be awesome if you continued the series and learn the rest of the story. Keep up the vids Hollow!!! 🔥❤️
i played the shit out of multiplayer horde. such a blast. and you remember we were all obsessed with weapon cosmetics. We all had like golden guns or blacked out with the skull sign on them or whatever crazy color they dropped during events. it was always a flex when you got the animated skins that pulsed around and moved the graphics. Hoffman, Dizzy, and the last Carmine brother were always my go to characters. I was gutted when i heard they announced a retrun to the series just because 3 felt so final. It felt complete and to finally beat the horde and queen. Felt like such a cashgrab to continue that i decided to stick with the first 3 as the official series in my opinion. man there was never any problems matchmaking for anything everyone and their mother played this game it was such a thing during that time. Even gta5 takes awhile to matchmake. This game there were always people to join.
@@guitarman0365 facts!!! The onyx weapon skins and the pulse wave!!! Ya the first 3 were amazing and didn’t really think they’d bring back the series. I always had a blast in multiplayer and horde. I played horde with my dad and brother and we’d play for hours. So much fun. Miss those days

I remember playing this version of the game and the xbox 360 version and i remember the last boss being the absolute worst to complete on the 360 it took me so long to beat its definitely the hardest boss for me out of all the gears of war games

Those were the best. Judgement had a cool story but they changed the game play and the campaign played like a more mobile version of horde mode from gears3. 4 had an ok story and the gameplay was really good like 3. Gears 5 isn't it. At all.

The Gears franchise moved a SHIT TON of Xbox 360's for Microsoft....if you enjoyed this game you definitely need to play Gears 2 and 3....4 and 5 are good too but the original Trilogy is LEGENDARY

Amazing that the graphics and gameplay don't feel dated 16+ years later. This is both a compliment to GoW and an indictment of present-day AAA game developers.

The first gears was easily the best. The game that literally made me buy a 360. Love the ultimate edition too. Updated but still feels gritty.
