- Super Macho Man Defeated In 1:43- • Super Macho Man Defeat...
For now, I decided to share this video, because some old schooled players like me could appreciate some notions about this fight. My personal record is 1:43, and I am looking forward to show it to you. Even 1:43 can be beaten. Believe me! ;)
Okies! Finally got it! Here is the link to my personal record against this guy:
• Super Macho Man Defeat...
This man is a legend, responding to comment after 16 years. I love people that still respond to stuff long after it was posted lol
Always a pleasure!! :)
This Super Macho Man was a lot harder than the Punch Out Wii Macho Man…way harder!
mcbrideart try the SNES version of Super Macho Man, yet?
The SNES Macho man is ironically harder then the entire special circuit with Rick and Nick Bruiser.
harder, but late or soon you can defeat him if you put the code of macho man's fight and you fight against him all de days you can focus on the moment then he is gonna do the macho man spin and when you skip him, about later ,is not a problem 😉
obviusly that all games in that you practice an only boss you will master it at the end, the true test is too know how to evade him in every moment with No Damage
The snes version is easy
Super macho man looks like lord faarquad on steroids
poop siepoo E
I always thought he looked like an overly muscular version of Nature Boy Ric Flair lmao
For poop siepoo, it's actually the othe way around, because Super Macho Man was created in 1984, while Lord Farquaad was created in 2001.
Jackson Lord Farquad looks like Super Macho Man If didn’t work out. Us that better?
@@DaggerMan-ov1vf what?
As a kid, I could never beat this guy
Same here
Lol what a noob
But you found a way to beat Sandman? Kudos to you. I put in a code to fight SMM and beat him.
As an adult I can never beat this giy
As a kid, I could never get to this guy
I beat SMM with a 1st round TKO 20 ago and had no idea how I did it, since I was never able to duplicate it. Thank you for reminding me that it wasn't a figment of my imagination.
Tim D I TKO him in 2:40.25 yesterday
Sometimes we gamers do badass things by accident.
I remember as a little kid getting to Super Macho Man, thinking he was the end of the game; and after beating him for the first time and realizing there was another fight just thinking "Holyshit it gets HARDER than this?"
Bruh how did you think that there wouldn't be another fight?
Dude he was a little kid
@@gaminro9545 true. The name Super macho man does seem like final boss vibes to a kid if you rlly think about it.
@@guilehua9675 Ironic considering that Super Macoman has technically never been the final boss of a punch-out game, despite being the world circuit champion 3/5 times.
In Arcade Super Punch-Out!!, the game loops indefinitely, so there technically isn't a final boss.
In NES Punch-Out!!, you have the Dream Fight afterwards.
And in SNES Super Punch-Out!!, you have the Special Circuit afterwards.
@@FusionCyborg He is final boss the original gold cart of NES punch out
BOGUS!
DUDE!
Release the bogus!
MY DUDE
MA CHO!
SUPER! MACHO! MAN!
i love it more when both super macho and soda pop get knock down with the gut punch. it is so hilarious.
Video 2:00
Super Macho Man beaten in 2:31
This proves my theory the clock goes faster
It’s been proven(to my knowledge) that time goes faster when nothing happens or an opponent is throwing a punch, and goes slower in a Stun jab combo. PunchOut Wii does the same
One real second is equal to 3 punch out seconds however the clock slows down when your punching someone because your supposed to be punching your opponents really fast
Thank you very much! Great to see that someone used to play the game like I do, at least for this fight against Super Macho Man! I agree about the difficulty of the game. When we were younger and didn't understand the subtilities and the patterns of the game, it could be hard. However, now that we know about how to fight each opponent, that makes it really easy, even too easy for some people to understand. ;)
if you notice every fighter has another that they mimic, it´s because nintendo used the same skins. Von kaiser and tiger are the same, flamenco and glass joe. Everyone but king hippo. mr dream/mike tyson used piston hondas skins etc etc.
Yeah I noticed that with Von Kaiser and Great Tiger
sandman, bald bull
Soda Popinski and Super Macho Man
RELEASE THE DUDE!
wow that tornado punch was something fierce! nice work dodging all 4! that's $!!
Well now that attack has a name the super macho spin
I can't time that first hook to save my life
Caleb Walker FACTS! Still haunts me from childhood! Lol
Thats why i never play this game to this point lol. Super Macho Man amd Mike Tyson are ridiculous
Caleb Walker I always had trouble beating Super Macho
...in the 22 years of me playing this game, I didnt know that you can get a star off of him. to me that in itself is impressive.
I don't know. Everyone always talked about it as the "Special Uppercut", even if it's not really an uppercut... ;)
Lol, man I never was able to get past his special punch. Got me every time.
Yeah, I would have to say that he was my favorite to fight as well over Tyson. He was definitely at challenge, especially with his super spin punch to where you had no idea when he was going to spot doing it. To this day, I still can get beaten by him. As for Super Punch Out, he was a lot easier in that game than the original if you ask me...well he is when you get his moves figured out lol.
Hal, you are soooo good at this game. Thanks for posting.
Great video! You made it look easy. Back when that game came out I was able to do the same after practice but never beat Tyson
Damn this dude still exists after 11 years
First time I ever saw someone whoop SMM so badly. Good job!
I tried it myself after seeing you and failed miserably. It’s gonna take some time.
Thank you very much dude! The timing thing is a question of practice indeed. However, last time I played, I found a new way to fight him. It requires a lot of luck to be able to fight the new way, but it may be a key to be able to beat him under my personal record! ;)
Yeah! Thanks to clarify me! He does this one-spin punch once in a while after a series of his own uppercuts. We can even block it with a punch we throw while he shakes before doing it. It looks like the same multi-spin punches he delivers right after he got knocked down! However, those are not exactly the same! ;)
I was never able to get passed bald bull.
Thanks again dude! In the video description, there is a link to another fight against Super Macho Man in which I beat him in 1:43, which is my record. I did it more than 15 years ago, may be when I was at my best haha. Getting older now, but still the same passion for those older games! :)
I'm with you man, i used to play this a long time ago and tbh, you are just playing exactly how I use to play, all the tricks and little openings you take advantage of are the same as I did... I can't even believe people would dispute this as if this game is THAT hard. Thanks for the vids, made me smile with old old memories!
The game genie comment was made by quite the dolt. This was all skill. Hats off to you, my man---I've been trying to beat this guy for a week or so. This video gave me some pointers. The timing on this is crazy.
He counts slower with King Hippo. In the Super Macho Man fight, Mario always counted fast. ;)
Lol somehow I managed to KO King Hippo on the first KO
@@juiceapple1335 Eh that's how it works, king hippo can't get up
hermosos tiempos... los 90's
Best game on the old NES! Used to love sitting down and playing from start to finish and go undefeated and smack Tyson all over the ring!
I pressed select to get trainer's support! At the beginning of some tough fights, our energy goes down a half. ;)
I wonder why that is?
@HalDanGhor I can see where that guy made a mistake. When Super Macho Man spun 3 times, you did dodge a 4th time thinking he was gonna punch you again, I do the same thing while fighting him.
That guy failed so hard, couldn't even count how many times you dodged lol :D
And nice job! I've been trying to beat this guy for the longest time
Thank you very much! Yes, I decided to send this fight instead of a few others against this guy. I defeated him faster in some of them, but this one really allowed me to show a few of his weaknesses. :D
Thank you very much! I saw your second round KO against him! Great job too! I used timed punches to get stars from him in my record, but I was very very lucky. Sometimes, he avoids big uppercuts just before doing his super attack, sometimes not. This time, he didn't avoid my super punches. So I could set a special record against him. As soon as I can send it, I will do it! ;) (in one month maximum)
For some reason I had more trouble with Sandman than Macho Man.
it lowers it cause little Mac is scared to fight of someone bigger and taller
review gamerX No, somebody pressed select before the battle making Little Mac’s stamina go to 50%.
Dr. Radicola fairly sure it was a joke, but yeah. PunchOut Knowledge is always welcome
Super Macho Man and Soda Popinski always had that "I don't got no nuts" walk.
Super Macho Man released the bogus and therefore, caused Little Mac's stamina to be reduced by half.
I managed to get 2:12 and doubt I'll beat that anytime soon. But DANG you did it in 1:43??? O.O I MUST SEE!!!!
Damn! Of course not a good time, but I like how you timed all of those single hits perfectly and got all of those stars from him. I should try to do that next time I attempt to KO Super Macho Man. Nice job!
@warrkrymez Yeap! Of course, at 0:42, it's a one-spin punch. He does that here and there, but the multi-spin punches will ALWAYS come right after Super Macho Man got knocked down. It's just the way it is. ;)
For 2007 this is really impressive.
Then you should look at my much older video, may be not on RUclips, but in real life. Check for my 1:43 record vs this guy. The video is what I recorded on videocassette back in time.
Macho Man looking like a buff Bob Hope....
Never have beaten this guy, that spin punch he does after he gets back up gets me almost every time. Then when you lose you have to go back and fight Don Flamenco and Sandman again, and Sandman is hard enough! Still love the game though.
Many many years ago, I guess I went to the third round a couple of times against him, but it never happened to me to see more than 17 Spin Punches in a row from him. ;)
@xSergioFx When playing on the NES, when we got a Star, we can use the "Start" button to use the super punch. ;)
There were times playing this as a kid where I felt Super Macho Man was tougher than Mike Tyson in some ways.
I was the exact opposite. I could beat Super Macho Man without getting hit, but I only beat Tyson once or twice.
His intro was me and my sister's favorite part of the game because it was so hilarious; his pecs sync with the music so well :)
Super Macho Man: releasing the bogus since '84!
Sunglasses guy moved whenever macho Man did a punch
dude this was cool to watch! you def know what you are doing!
i luv how it takes mac everything he has to knock the opponant in the chin! XD
I swear, some of the faces this guy makes looks straight out of an archie comic
Super Macho Man was always my favorite to fight, even over Tyson. I think the fights with this guy were more fun and he still gave me a challenge. He was also a pain in the ass in the Super Punch Out game.
Excellent mate. I know you only have nice and great old school games in your channel but I personally would be delighted to watch how you give a try to the New Punch Out Game which was created for the WII Console a couple of years ago. I am sure you would do a more than decent run on it if you tried . Greetings
I swear, back then, those pecs were so disturbing that they took off half of Mac's health!
@caseface666 You have to do it after he throws certain kind of punches. Look at the beginning of the video for that. Other times, it's another technique. Before he does his Spin Punches, you can press "UP" to make him get his guard high, then hit him to the body.
Yes it is. It can happen in rounds 2 and 3, depending on your performance... ;)
When you trigger Doc Louis' "massage" before the first round, you LOSE energy.
@kadel300 You can press "Select" only once per fight between rounds to replenish some health. When you do that, you'll notice that Little Mac's trainer arm will hit Mac's shoulder faster, so it means that you did it. Do it before some tough fights like this one, and Mac's health will decrease by half. ;)
Super macho man makes similar facial expressions from the dragon ball series when he is hit.
@brandontheruler11 I never need to cheat to play games. Tell me the time where you think we cannot shake him, and I'll tell you exactly what to do, how and why it can be done. Go! Go! ;)
Another way to really separate both of them is to comapre which one is the easiest to TKO in the first round. I did it with Sandman. I almost did it with Tyson. It's only a matter of time, but Sandman much more easier. Except for the first part of round 1 and whe Sandman does his Dreamland Express, I can fight him eyes closed. Once you can do it, it means you learned how to fight him. He is easy, so easy. Even knowing Tyson's moves very well, he is much tougher. ;)
@Moonles665 It's only a matter of practice. The timing to avoid his spin punches is always the same, so you can get used to it with time. ;)
@silver101able @silver101able Did the "Select" button trick before the fight. We usually do it to restore energy between rounds... It only works once per fight though. For the big fights, when using it before the fight begins, it will decrease your energy by half. ;)
OK, I correct myself on my Soda Popinski comment. it was MACHO MAN who used to kick my ass all the time 20 years ago. Great videos, btw.
The one at the one minute mark is easy to avoid because he gives you time to react. The other spin punch is the harder one.
Yea much less predictable
Hit the Start button on your controller to unleash a "Star Punch" that takes off a considerable amount of the opponent's stamina.
I'd like to see Soda Popinski fight Super Macho Man.
"I drink to prepare for a fight. Tonight I am very prepared!".
Oh my... TYVM! Now I'll understand what means that sentence in the good sense! I don't have a WII, so, I couldn't know! :))))
You can go to "rom-freaks" to download the game and an emulator in order to play it! ;)
wow I never knew you could punch him in the stomach! after all these years I finally realized this lol.
At :45 . He didn't do his little shake or his HUGE wind up. He just threw a spin punch almost immediately.
Kick ass. I lived on this game back then....I was so pissed when my Power Glove didn't work on this game though
1:18 that punch was hard even my phone knocked out from pubch
The Super Macho Man "Boobie Dance" gets me where I need to be.
lol! for a moment I just sighed and thought you were serious about it lol, until I saw that you were talking about the select thing lol.
i know, but the goal was not to overdo it. I only wanted to show how I fight this guy to the viewers. ;)
Before some matches, press select while you see stats of the boxers... Then, press start to begin your fight. ;)
Each star used allows Little Mac to do a Super-Uppercut! If Little is getting 0 hearts, he'll be tired a little bit and won't be able to punch for a while. To gain some more when in this position, just avoid a few punches in a row! ;)
I herd smoky in the background,"DAmn you got knocked the fuck out!!!"
0:05 the way they move
You are right. This one is a version where the sound may look different. It's the only difference. Fights and strategies are exactly all the same. ;)
brings back memories
The only thing you have to do is to press select once. You will notice than Little Mac's trainer arm hits Mac faster. So, it is the proof that the "select" button trick worked. However, this trick is principally used to regain some energy between rounds. It can only be used once per fight. And, starting with half life doesn't work against all opponents. I know it will work against Champions and high-level opponents too like those in World Circuit. ;)
@BareknuckleRoo Dodging right works exactly the same as left dodge in this game. However, for Super Punch Out on SNES, they are different. You can avoid all Sandman's punches with left or right dodges including the flash punches. You can even use the ducking move to avoid them as well. More tricky though. ;)
Gotcha! I totally understand what you're talking about now ! Gonna go try it now
There's always a delay after he's finished with his series of uppercuts before he does this one-spin punch. I always use this delay to get some Stars in faking the head then hit him to the body. To avoid his big spin punch, we just have to wait until he his body chakes. It's the signal. I don't think we can really see it on this video, because of the lag or quality, but it's just a matter of practice. It's easy to avoid and counter. When we know the patterns of this game, and with speed, easy!
hehehe, he does that punch from time to time. the punch where he just blinks and does a half spin punch pretty much. I remember that from even when i was little. but it's funny to see these vids not knowing it was possible as a kid lol
I think this is one of the best games on the NES, i have the PS3 with a lot of games too but i stll play punch out! on my old NES from 1985 :)
Sunglasses guy tips his shades before the swinging punch too
Right hand side 0:40 0:40 😎
Press Select "before" some fights to trigger Little Mac's massage by trainer may reduce Mac's energy by half. Between rounds, it can give Mac some energy recovery... ;)
You can tell it's real, because there are a few minor errors here and there.
Very sick MTPO skills indeed.
So this is the sideline of mario being a referee
Yes, and that's how I fight him. However, even if I said that one is tougher than the other, they are still easy now. In the past, it was different! ;)
@HalDanGhor I believe you, I haven't played the game in many years so I didn't know that waiting helps get the stars. I am not going to deny now that you are playing legit because other videos I have seen earn stars quickly too.
That was pretty impressive. It usually takes me at least Round 2 to beat him... 🍺😎👍
Thanks! I also beat him in 1:43 in Round 1 in one of my other videos.
@@HalDanGhor Well, NOW you're just bragging! 🙄
@@mcgannahanskyjellyfetti6854 No bragging. Just sharing the information.

Wtf 😂😂😂😂😮
@reddog24playa1 Just left from your RUclips nickname when you enter RUclips, there is an upload option. Click on it and you can upload any video from your computer. It has to be in AVI or MPEG or WMV or FMV, etc format.
@The830pm It's more of a trick than a cheat. It will decrease health by half only at the beginning of specific fights. It's not random. For example, it'll never work against Glass Joe but will always work against Super Macho Man...
