Part of your issue could be bore/red dot offset. There will be a minimum range that the sight can mechanically adjust to match the impact. My Bul is zeroed at 15 yards and it's dead on. as you close the distance the impact point starts to drop away from the aim point.
Bul website says UP TO 124g, and not 124g and up. For maximum reliability and optimal performance, we recommend the use of up to 124g ammunition with this model.
Would've appreciated if you'd ran a selection of ammunition through it, ie. heavier and defensive loads to see it's recoil action. Enjoyed the footage all the same.
BUYERS BEWARE!!! If you live in a restricted state with magazine capacity issues, Colorado is 15 limit. Bul Armory will send you a 10 magazine round vice stock 16, no in between which isn’t listed on their site. I don’t know too many folks who buy a double stacked 1911 gun with a magazine capacity of 10 for $1500, there’s too many options at single stack on same platform for 50%+ the monies savings. No compensation offered either, they stated to purchase mags at neighboring states on my dime, lol!
@@lightwaters well, it’s a full size 5” gun. Can someone carry it? Sure. I don’t. Prefer smaller carry guns and a C2 was my max size carry. @thelifeofron on YT carries an xc but he’s a big dude. It all just depends on what you’re comfortable with .
I Got the sas 2 comp 3.25 and used it for the 1st time ...but it seems to be jamming the rounds got magtech 115 grain ...maybe just need to oil it....did you notice any failure on the gun cycling the rounds when you used it 1st time out of box
Had the same issue with mine with specific 100gr defensive ammo. Quite pointy and flat at the top. Together with the less power it was enough to not lock the slide all the way forward every time. Happened with range 115s from time to time too, but it's quite rare. Best ammo I shot and I carry is Hornady Critical Defence 115s. Flawless performance with them.
Wow, the flip control from the comp is quite notable. Thanks for demoing this!

Great video! I am considering this gun with or without the comp…recommendations?
Also, what brand of shooting glasses are you using?
Same did you decide yet ?

I’ve got the non comp sas ii and my Holosun is the same way
Staccato CS next
you still have this? is it for sale?
Hey wheelman, would you trade the bul comp for a full size 1911 double stack?
I bet you didn’t cut down the front posts and the optic is sitting up.
I did cut down the front post and my optic is not sitting up. It's in the video. Keep watching
Optic plate
If you had to chose another red dot besides the holosun which one would that be and why
I like and use Holosun. Don't know enough about others to say
Have you got an issue with JHP?
Have you shot a staccato xc...and if so how would you compare besides the price
I have both. Not even in same ballpark. Can’t really compare this to a full size staccato comped gun.
@@jvz1448 Can one carry a stac xc as an edc ?

Bul recommended you use 124 Grain ammo for proper performance. It’s literally on their site.
I'm having same issues, has yours improved?
