A true eccentric. I can remember traveling to Chicago in the late 90's when he and Wesley Willis were both on the scene and making great music.....Godspeed Bobby!
I'm not saying u will have more fans....I and saying that u will end up being the peak of what I want to hear in my own head if u make it a BIT heavier
Why don't you increase the tempo and beat synchronization slightly........U would have the BEST hardcore sound. Plus if u have to practice your own writing then it makes it WAY more fun. But your music is HARDCORE, disguised under old pop.....Let the hardcore flow......give the guitars some distortion and the drums some heavy toms and a deep bass and u will be capturing the PERFECT best that hardcore has to offer..
I just 'happened upon' Guns n Rose's Cover of Live n Let Die. Slash manages to muster some sophistication of stage presence, but Rose prances around in his Daisy Jukes like an unfit member of Girls Aloud, distracted from hitting her mark for tje choreographed, ACDC, split kick....Soooo....I thought I'd check out how the talented composer, lyricist and musician, Maccaroni, managed to manifest the theatriacal intensity deserving of the high-drama, operatic pop greatness, he has has penned....It wasn't worse than the GnR girl band with a sore throat and wardrobe catastrophe, but it beat a drawer by degrees infinitesimal...So I browse the search engine for covers that do something interesting with the song in terms or musical arrangement and performance. Can't believe there are a gazillion life coaches being paid to repeat after me into nullification, yet this song hasn't been played with by the right freak with the right touch....it's gotta be salvaged by the Conmeister
bobby conn rules, one of the most intense geniuses in the past century. sadly overlooked by most.
I don't say this lightly but I truly believe this is the best song ever written.
