Back when I was just a simple beach bob, I played single player with the original multiplayer settings. It was the most grindy experience in a video game I have ever witnessed.

I like the idea of a resources competition. Like you're all given an hour to collect as much of X resource as you can, and seeing the different ways each person would go about it, seeing if they have the best method etc - would be really interesting. You'd have to consider location, tool, is it worth going too far from wherever you have to store the resources, etc. I think some rules like no teleporting would have to be used.
Concerning the rex teeth they don't stack being alpha evorex and normal/paleo rex rewards. If you don't want to use the recovery mod you can always tame a fjordhawk to bed travel with your stuff, can always incite your own suffering and use brachis to tame the bird
For the wyvern hunt me and my friend once used a Tapejara, where i flew it and he sat pointing backwards with weapons. It was kinda hilarious when we aggroed like 5 wyverns trying to outmaneuver them while he lit them up :D
I really love the base hub in this series, as it feels like a bunch of survivors who started with nothing came together to build a modern community village. I think my favorite of all time of syntacs bases was his Aberration base when he built very close to a water fall with crystals protruding everywhere. I have soft spot for good looking bases, a place to call home
Dear god syntac first you can’t find your snow armour then you don’t check your new tames stats, now all you have to do is go out without food or water and fail to jump the slightest gap and you will have passed the jimbob school of ark
Yes Syntac please soon go for the rexes! Because when you breed them you have a slim chance, might be 1% to get a different Variant Rex. Which is completely unique and has different attacks. So that alone may take a while, plus then getting a breeding pair for them with the best stats too. Best to work on it sooner rather then later.
I completely agree. I'm usually a "cut all wasted points" breeder (Oxy, Food, & Speed) so I can get the most out of my points, but any tame that tends to be a stamina hog, I leave the food stat alone as they kinda go hand in hand.

I think maybe name the Moschops "Sulphur". It has the little hints of yellow in it. And the toned green makes me think of radioactivity, and sulphur is toxic. So I think it's a very good name!
Sad thing is 9 times out of 10 getting stuck in the mesh deletes your character to kill you, and that doesnt drop a death cache which is required for death recovery to work. See, the lvl 24 thing is real, Jim's Curse is reeaal!
I dont play ark for a long time, but i used to play with the Awesome Teleport mod... if they didn't change that, when you die, you can hold "E" on the teleporter and retrieve your corpse, not needing that grave mod. I find that a little bit op tho, used mainly on PVP servers.
Syntax you should get a bunch of ark players together and make like essentially a hermit craft server but ark you can call it Galicraft it’s like an ark spin off of the Minecraft series it would be so cool to watch
Any paleo alphas have a small chance of dropping paleo loot. And is considered lucky. Killing an alpha evolved rex will drop u tons of blueprints/saddles. The chances of the alpha evolved rex to spawn is like 1/10 of the chance of an alpha rex.
