Thank you! 8-) It was used in the past for the full episode dub in Season 1 - but the song only play halfway through. Now you get to hear the full theme which is pretty neat! X )
Flattered to hear it Patrick! We're honored! ;) I had so much fun working on this. I'm kicking BEASTARS English Fan-dub BUTT! XXXD I'm very proud of the boys and I'm very much looking forward to hearing you and your team's interpretation of the scenes when they come out! X ) We're the only two groups who are super fans and doing a kick-ass job with the fan-dubs! Let's keep it going!
Reminds me of revisiting my old home after running away to escape emotional & physical abuse. Everything felt so small & unimportant, but it did bring a sense of closure.
I gotta say, I like these fan dubs waaay better than the official. Nothing personal against the official dub but the voice talent you have going on here is unmatched. I guess I'm used to you guys since I heard you first but much love and respect to both.
Dubs can be highly subjective in terms of comparisons for execution and director's vision - I say more power to those who do it officially and by the fans who love the series just as much! Regarding the official dubs, as mentioned in my BEASTARS Live-streams and interview with Griffin and Jonah, I still admire and appreciate what the team pulled off - they had an amazing cast and incredible director to give them vision and allow flexibility in their performances. Nevertheless I personally enjoy listening to more different takes/variations from others who would like to give it a go at dubbing their favourite series. Even better if they can do it in their own native language other than English! Also thanks for your feedback Courtland, here's to more for Season 2!
@@qualityfandubs True. It comes down to personal taste. We're lucky we got an official dub. I did a few casting calls for some motion comics I've put together and one of the more exciting parts is looking for that perfect voice so I appreciate the different takes when fans dub their favorite shows. It gives me an idea who's out there.
YAAAAAAY! More Elson!Louis and Rory!Legosi! :D Haha, I love Rory's sputtering at 0:40. I further love how different your elegant, poised Louis-voice is to the chief's nasally voice. I'm so glad you're keeping up with these dubs and still delivering quality work for the rest of us to bask in. x3
*The lipsyncing and so are the voice actors!* At first i actually thought this was real but i was confused at first since Legosi has Jonah Scott as the English voice actor for dub! Still though, This is Well lipsynced to the characters and the acting and music adding is perfect!
Why thank you kindly Kafekoppen! Glad you enjoyed it! It's great fun to hang with friends and get them involved in a project like this - especially when they are fans of the show too! There are other clips to watch too! And in addition I branch out to other 'anthropomorphic' anime to add variety to the fandubs produced - ODD TAXI was just released a couple of days ago on the channel, do give it a watch. ;)
Oh yeah, and this is a bit off the subject of your dub, but I'd like to take a moment say that PINA-KUUUUUUUUUUUN has finally arrived in the anime! I hope this means a dub with Josh sometime. ;) Although another scene I hope you guys dub is where Legosi accidentally confirms his pesky virgin status. XD The anime really did that scene so well!
@@qualityfandubs OH! OH! Real quick, I just remembered something I wanted to say earlier: another scene I hope you consider doing is the fight between Legosi and Roger the kangaroo... and since kangaroos are native to Australia... well, it certainly would be a chance for you to have some fun parodying your country's own accent! ;D
@@qualityfandubs Right! x3 Of course, if you end up never doing it, then that's alright. You've got plenty of other stuff to work on! Just thought I'd put that out there. x3
I’m ecstatic to see a continuation of BEASTARS anime fan-dubs from you, Elson! As a unique avenue of dubbing when compared to your other works, it’s fun to listen and watch how you tackle it and evolve your technique as you go along. A few things I liked (strap in for another read!): Starting off, you prove again how you’ve mastered the art of creating engaging scene ambience in a way that is rarely found in fan audio productions. Attention to detail is everything and finding a way to layer elements in a way that is natural and not distracting can be a delicate juggling act. You did it very well in this opening scene outdoors with the voices, music, feet shuffling and wind through the trees all contributing their parts to the whole, and all in appropriate proportion. I also really like the reverb used for the voices in the Drama Club rehearsal hall, it sounded real - as if all the performers were together in the same space - as it should be. In terms of voice work, it’s again exceptional - but that’s come to be expected of yourself and Rory with these BEASTARS dubs. I’m going to start sounding like a broken record eventually, but Rory reads such life and such personality into Legosi - and it’s not just the way he delivers lines. Something I took away from his work here is how well he handles other vocalizations such as thoughtful hums and gasps. It’s easy to overplay such things, but Rory has kept his subtle and natural. And the bit where he stutters trying to find the words to question Louis had me busting up. That again is something that could have been too over-the-top, but the special way Rory always taps in to Legosi’s awkwardness, it came across as completely in character. I loved it. And Elson! It’s so nice to hear more of your Louis, especially in direct contrast with your Sanou. Your Louis is always played super straight and confident (even when he’s faking it). Your voice gives him that aristocratic air that is one of his trademarks and you read in a way that gives a sense of weight and deliberateness to his every word. And then you’re also voicing as Sanou with a very different portrayal as he is a character that is quick to show his emotions (namely shock here) and speaks in a much more hurried, almost flailing sort of way. And the accent you’ve given him is so fun, I love your read of “Where the hell have you been?!” It’s so amusing to hear you play such different characters and it’s even more exciting to have them interacting here in a way that really demonstrates your range and ability to differentiate them enough that talking to yourself does not seem strange. XD All-in-all, another excellent dubbing effort, and as always I can’t wait to see what comes next!
Love you Josh, you're a legend when it comes to feedback to my audio projects! Looking forward to finally have you make your debut as PINA in Episode 3!!! Let's do it!!
I'm so used to hearing the official dub pronounce Legosi's name wrong that I literally did a double-take when Louie didn't pronounce it with a Japanese accent for no reason whatsoever.
Hey does anyone have the Google drive to the the first season or the link to where season 2 will be posted, to be honest some of the VAs sound much better than the official dub

It fits him quite well in my opinion.
