Wahl should just release a super quiet but powerful clipper. Definitely seems like theyre trying to re sell old products with minimal modification. They could also reinvent the floating lever by having a digital read out of where the lever is.

I was at the CT Barber expo. I was asking a lot of questions about the clipper. The representative told me, that it has 7200 RPMs. He told me it was the exact motor as the cordless Sr… I turn the clipper on. And I also turned the cordless Sr on that was right next to it. Pretty much felt the same to me🤷♂️🤷♂️

I did install a Senior's motor on my magic clips and black babyliss blades, it looks dope and goes through anything quite smoothly, best modification ever

@@jusfadez5920 cause I am in LATAM and it's not easy to get a senior here in Perú, besides of how expensive they are etc, you can find the magic clip or the super taper on any barber shop tho

Can you line up the neckline with that lil' gold or is the angle of where the blade sits too weird?
i think magic clips works better with a slower motor, i think magic clips can be an all arounder but better use them as a fading clipper

Use the magic clippers, terrific, bought the gold only for aesthetics and small upgrade.
Joints need to be 150. Them fools crazy at whal. Does the blade pull skin like the regular magic clips? I had to change the blade on the original Magic Clips

Here’s the thing, I dropped over $2 G’s on my son with all the “new and better” clippers for the past year
And all he uses is the 5 Star Seniors, SC rebels and FX3 and now he’s up to 5-8 cuts per day in my house
He absolutely swears by them
@@pennywiser9607 Yh that’s understandable. Wahl in terms of performance have always been the “go-to” clippers when it comes to fading hair. And just because it’s good, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re shouldn’t be no room for improvement. For instance babyliss have recently been making innovations that keep taking the barbering industry further and further whilst wahl just keep selling us the same outdated product all over again.
There are obviously slight differences in performance but it’s minuscule. This is probably the third or maybe even a fourth iteration of the magic clip.
Tbf everything wahl does nowadays feel like a cheap cash grab to me. Like they’re milking a cow that’s run out of juice. It’s a shame that one of the OG companies in the barbering industry won’t step they’re game when they know they should.

Stronger, in my opinion yes. This Magic Clip is closer to the push of a Senior.
Hold up, the Rebels objectively have more torque than the MC or seniors, so if this thing is more powerful than a Rebel, that would make it the most powerful clipper

I wouldn’t say these are at the Senior level but these cut through bulk and wet hair a bit easier than the Rebel. I still will go with the Rebel, I like that blade much better.

Wahl has the lowest battery life out of all the clippers plus they never upgrade n yes I do have the Magic n senior n Detailer but honestly I use my other better clippers. There’s way better n newer clippers out there. Personally Stylecraftpro are the best ones right now you can feel the quality n power as well.
