If you want consistency at GM, fire Poles and promote Cunningham. I think the Jaguars trade was his one true victory and we keep revelling in that like we do the ‘85 Bears. In both cases, nothing good has happened since. I defended Poles forever but that ship has sailed. Outside of the Jaguars trade, every move he has made has been the 3rd or 4th best option as his top marks: Swift over Barkley or Henry Flus over Harbaugh Finesse over Strength in every and all positions. Nice and compliant coaches over in your face leaders and ones that want a say on the roster.
I don’t follow college football at all. I don’t live under a rock so I do know how great of a season jeanty is having. I don’t want to waste a first on anything other than a lineman. With that being said, if jeanty is as good as advertised and can be as good as he is in college then you have to draft him. If he is elite like a Barkley, CMC, or Henry then it is absolutely worth it. If he’s not on that level then it’s just not worth it.
Google searched: Here are some stats for Caleb Williams' college football career: 2023: 73 sacks, 491 sack yards, 4.3 sacks per game, and 29.0 sack yards per game
@@benjaminrobert588 Googled NFL Sack Total: For Williams, it's not going to be easy when the pass rush is reaching him as often as it has, for a league-high 58 sacks. Is this Bears line better or worse than USC 2023? The way I'm starting to look at this is he's proven to take too many sacks. I do believe in CW but taking 131 sacks in less than 2 complete season is CRAZY. Better his ribs than mine...
@@wfarej It's not good to take that many sacks, but what it comes down to is it because he has a bad OL or is it because he is holding onto the ball too long. From the eye test, there are times I see he holds onto it too long, but a lot of the times the higher time of him holding onto it is because he is pressured right away and has to scramble way out to either side while looking downfield to throw. I think it would be better to look at his 2022 season to see his sack numbers under a line that was criticized for being bad. That might give a better picture of whether he is holding onto the ball too long or not. I never really watch college football, so I couldnt even give eye test opinion on that one.
He needs to trust his arm and let it rip, which he did in college. Problem is in college they allowed him to play hero ball and he's starting to drop into that habit as the year gets worse. Flus also trained him to not turn the ball over, therfore he's not learning what his limits are yet at the pro level because he's not letting it rip.
If u look at the 3 win teams, some of them have some winnable games. If we could end up at pick 6, that would be huge to get a blue chip player or a trade down.
As for Head Coach, I like Ben Johnson but he needs to come into the locker room and let them know it’s MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY so if that doesn’t work out for you there is the door I’m not your Mother so keep your whining to yourself
Yeah..... he's not that type of guy. He's got brains but I don't see him with the discipline. Many of these coaches are the same. They have 1 or the other, but not both.
Enough of this BS. The Bears organization will not do a god damn thing that will even remotely benefit itself. Ryan Poles will remain in place, they will hire the worst possible choice for HC, and wont draft an O Linemen until the 5th round as usual. There are still way too many holes on this entire team to fill. The entirety of the O Line, RB, D Line depth, and we need a good CB that knows how to just shut up.
Kiran plays just like Braxton Jones who's also a backup, both of them are butt cheeks! Will Campbell is the most talented tackle in this draft Ashton Jeanty is not as talented as Bijan or Saquan he's not worth it. I'm tired of the layman bears fans who don't know crap about football! The same layman fans wanted Caleb and as I predicted were going to be 4-13 (check my previous comments before we drafted him if you don't believe me)! No to Ashton Jeanty for the love of God! The major liability on this team first and foremost is the Offensive line 1st, Defensive line 2nd! We're not getting Trey Smith that's a dream, Chiefs are already talking about resigning him! Alaric Jackson isn't the answer either!
I am pissed I am tired of saying next year will be the year…the organization completely disregarded the fans chanting that we wanted Justin, Dj Moore vouching for Justin…I strongly believe we would have won 10+ games with Justin as our QB, Caleb sucks man Holds the ball too long Deep ball accuracy is terrible Missing open receivers

OT is not a need
We have a top 20 Tackle (#18) on a rookie contract and a rookie we drafted for 2025 development behind him with our Right Tackle being even better.
We will not be drafting a Tackle in this weak tackle class
@@Beardownsports I'm thinking he has the tools to be moved to Guard (or Kiran could)
@@Beardownsports The line we have is a problem and has been forever!
@@mdvatty when all 5 starters have played, we're a top 10 line.
Make what you're saying make sense
If Ashton Jeanty is really Beast Mode 2.0, we hit the #Goldpit !! I know, the cowboys want to pick him up lol
We can't keep giving up on every coach / gm every 2-3 yrs . Poles has done more good than bad , he can't play the games. Sign top guard 1st and draft 3 trench players in top 40 . An edge /dt / OL
Who has he drafted in 3 years and 30 picks total that has even sniffed being top 10 at their position or has even received a single pro bowl vote?
The man wants friends instead of making tough decisions. He cried when having to cut a 3rd string Safety that walked around barefoot and rode a bike everywhere because he was "down to earth". C'mon man!
@@davidmaupin2344 so I guess we should dump all those players who haven’t lived up to your lofty standards either? Brisker , Gordon , Wright , Odunze and Caleb ? The revolving door has worked so well at GM and HC we should keep doing it…. Makes sense . So you’re emotional about another man being emotional. Also makes a lot of sense
Watch the new HC switch to a 3-4. Lol
That's why a lot of these mocks could be pointless until we know who's hired first and what scheme they run.
I would support it.
There's really good options this year to do it and Booker is a better fit at 3-4
We won’t win another game & Jacksonville schedule will put us between picks 4-7 so either take Banks Jr or trade it to Dallas for Parsons since they can’t afford him 🤷🏽♂️
Not likely to be above 8 even if we lose out.
I think Jeanty in the first round would be a horrible choice, I hope our 1st pick be in trenches
If you want consistency at GM, fire Poles and promote Cunningham. I think the Jaguars trade was his one true victory and we keep revelling in that like we do the ‘85 Bears. In both cases, nothing good has happened since. I defended Poles forever but that ship has sailed. Outside of the Jaguars trade, every move he has made has been the 3rd or 4th best option as his top marks:
Swift over Barkley or Henry
Flus over Harbaugh
Finesse over Strength in every and all positions.
Nice and compliant coaches over in your face leaders and ones that want a say on the roster.
What Jaguars trade? 😂
It was so good that nobody knows what you are referring too.
@ Typo, sorry. I got my cats mixed up in my head. 🙄
Panthers, friend…..Panthers.
Where is Tavon Jenkins
In this one, I didn't retain him because he can't stay healthy
You got a fan in me when you said Joe Brady that’s who I’m pounding the table for to. Ben Johnson is alright but he is not the answer
Taking a RB at round 1 is a mistake. If one of the two OT isnt available at 9, trade back.
Taking a RB or OT are both huge mistakes in this draft
It's gonna be a long off-season WTF
I don’t follow college football at all. I don’t live under a rock so I do know how great of a season jeanty is having. I don’t want to waste a first on anything other than a lineman. With that being said, if jeanty is as good as advertised and can be as good as he is in college then you have to draft him. If he is elite like a Barkley, CMC, or Henry then it is absolutely worth it. If he’s not on that level then it’s just not worth it.
Great presentation, lousy facts. Why in God’s name will the bears draft a RB when the number problem is the offensive line?
Google searched: Here are some stats for Caleb Williams' college football career:
2023: 73 sacks, 491 sack yards, 4.3 sacks per game, and 29.0 sack yards per game
He's looked a TON better the last couple weeks, I'll show that later
2023 is the year he had a terrible offensive line at USC. 2022 would be the better indicator of sacks taken along with the yards from sacks.
Would sign Trey Smith and Drew Dalman then draft Donovan Jackson in the second or third? Jackson is playing out of position.
First thing that needs to happen is Poles needs to go...that mess is 100% on him..he is terrible at evaluating OL talent...Davis,Bates,Amegadje
Leatherwood 😅
We don’t need a $15 million WR coach. I like Keenan, but spend that $ on the o-line or DE.
I would see if we could trade back a few spots for jenty. Cut swift and edmunds
Can't cut them. They are both owed way too much guaranteed money. We are stuck with them for now.
No on Jeanty! What a phenomenal waste of a first round pick. We need a beast on the D line first. Cut Edmunds as well, he is terrible this year
8th pick, and moving up
If u look at the 3 win teams, some of them have some winnable games. If we could end up at pick 6, that would be huge to get a blue chip player or a trade down.
Jeanty is going to Dallas. Bet
100% agree with you
Bears are just screwed all around. Should've traded down for a haul with #1 pick instead of Caleb
As for Head Coach, I like Ben Johnson but he needs to come into the locker room and let them know it’s MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY so if that doesn’t work out for you there is the door I’m not your Mother so keep your whining to yourself
Is that who Ben Jonhson is though? I don't see much personality in him so I worry he's not dynamic
That is a concern, maybe Vrabel would be better with the right OC
Yeah..... he's not that type of guy.
The Bears need to move on from WR Keenan Allen
What's with all the yelling family? Lol
How can a MOCK draft make so so butt hurt? 😂
@@davidmaupin2344 I'm a bears fan man... I'm tired of the suck!!! 🤣😂
I am pissed I am tired of saying next year will be the year…the organization completely disregarded the fans chanting that we wanted Justin, Dj Moore vouching for Justin…I strongly believe we would have won 10+ games with Justin as our QB, Caleb sucks man
Holds the ball too long
Deep ball accuracy is terrible
Missing open receivers
I’m not high on Mason Graham I’m trading out of the top 10 it makes all the sense
