This is one of the most exciting countries I’ve ever visited, and as soon as I got here I ate three of the weirdest things I’ve ever tried! 😀including a rock made of clay!! 🤯
Please watch this video because the world 🌎 keeps surprising me. There are so many cultures out there and things to discover, it’s like endless surprises.
The country is Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, and they have the most lovely people ever, they are all so happy, cute and friendly. in just 2 days I made so many friends, they made me try delicious dishes but also the craziest food ever!, I’m loving it!.
My goal is to open your mind by showing you how different, creative and beautiful humans are everywhere in the world, and Kyrgyz people are 100% an example of this 🙌❤️🇰🇬
Thank you to everyone in this video and especially to my new friend Akylai who made me try Gulboto (clay) without telling me what it was and filmed my reaction @batirova_a18 I have tried crazy food all over the world but never something as bizarre as this.
They also have something called Toprak which is actually dirt (or ground 😅),
They eat these things for calcium, and it’s ok to eat it as long as you don’t eat toooo much!

Yes its not food but my mom when i was younger had a habit of eating clay potss ! The ones that i bought to collect money called 'gullak' when we consulted doc he said its bc of defeciency of calcium . By the way its delicious 😊 but only for sometimes ..it tastes and smells like rain ❤

@@cursedsinner5069 It definitely does, i did some further research and concluded this, The clay or “rocks” they are eating are high in mineral content, very high, and he also mentioned pregnant women who tend to develop defenciencys during pregnancy as the baby requires a lot of nutrients, the body knows exactly what it needs and will do what it can to get it, including craving for odd things that contain said mineral.
Jup, i think it might be a lack of calcium or iron. As both are in clay naturally.
Also as the comments show it’s also very common in some African countries, weirdly in my home country Namibia I haven’t heard of it, but we have a very meat heavy diet which makes it even more obvious now looking at the countries popular dishes where people eat clay.
