I was looking for inspiration on design style for what an old world French or Spanish kitchen would look like. I've spent too much time looking, and found nothing until I saw your channel. I remember this trend in the late 80s early 90s, but it faded fast. I think restoration hardware came out of that? Anyway, I'm one of those weird people that feels a new wave of style coming and like clockwork I start seeing it everywhere!! Very strange but true.
