Fun fact, xonae was also a dev at an old Dunkin Donuts game on roblox from years ago. He engaged in e-dating with another dev from the game, and was well-known to be overly sexual and public about what he was doing with his e-gf, and eventually had left the group all together because she had broken up with him. I had a personal encounter with him and had asked about his history. He gave me sarcastic answers, then had blocked me for no apparent reason. That's when he moved over to rolve, and it's safe to say that nothing about him has really changed. Egotistic, creepy, narcissistic, weirdo.

i was falsely RAC banned on tc2 and i was told game moderators weren't allowed to revert RAC bans so i had to dm one of the devs, so that's what i did. i got no response whatsoever. thank you so much for showing this honestly depressing side of the rolve community!
I was chain banned in TC2, though I was rightfully banned for exploiting in Arsenal (The reason for exploiting is because of the Night's Edge boss, I always down him to 180-/+, I would never use it against player)
I think they should remove chain ban honestly, TC2 is the only game I cared for, and arguably exploiters can change, and the one who was falsely banned by RAC like you has to suffer not being able to play other popular ROLVE games... The devs are messed up anyways.

i got RAC banned in tc2 for "bypassing chat filter." i believe i got banned for saying "rule 34" when i was explaining my 1st ban on tc2 to another player who experienced the same thing. i love rolve!!11

I'm glad that someone made a video like this because I've been falsely banned for 1 year and I've talked to mods and after a while they just ignored me witch sucked.
I remember a couple of years ago, i had a convo with one of the mods in the game talking about how they should really fix their moderation system as i used to run into exploiters every like 3 games. They told me "Don't see one here so i'm doing a good job", I was honestly baffled by how unprofessional they are with their team. I also tried informing them on Bad Business' sort of auto-detection for exploiters that i believed work efficiently more than theirs', only for them to say that who cares, people will still bypass it in the end.

I wouldn't call it well put together, the introduction takes up 20% of the video and 20 minutes isn't nearly enough for a full-fledged exposure video
the fact they won't show you any evidence for what got you banned is a huge issue. that's like going to a court case and not knowing what crime you were accused of (thus having 0 preperation and such). also they have a huge lack of professionalism. (ego issues too)

Man. After I saw this video, I am having big trust issues with Rolve games. What's worse is that Xonae is a dev for TDX(A game I planned to make content for). After I found out about his actions, I'm not so sure anymore. Atleast thank you for making this video otherwise I would have never known.

This is why Arsenal died. Lack of updates, nothing new, and obviously bad toxic moderation. Xonae even banned a youtuber UnstoppableFPS cuz he was helping the community out with the operagx bundle.

I was somewhat deep in the Arsenal Discord community several years ago and witnessed so much shady, unprofessional actions by the moderation community. It's an entire rabbit hole.

Yep. I was in the Discord for a good while and that was probably the time I lost my innocence (this was during COVID).
Around this time last year I had a few catfish accounts... and let's just say some of the people inside the discord (mods included) are incredibly perverted.
I was in it around 2018? I was one of the few people who played Arsenal back when it got rebooted and was pretty popular on the Discord server. I've seen hypocrisy and perversion in several moderators and it's unimaginable to think that the devs allowed these people to moderate a server for a kids game.@@wintorialslift

My friend was banned once because someone exploited on his account. He showed a ton of proof but yet was denied. But when it happens to someone like excitable?? He gets off the hook. What's even WORSE is that xonae literally humiliated him publicly for lying which is REALLY unprofessional for a moderator to do.. even though I KNOW someone had gotten into his account, and It even showed that one of his logins was from from peru, although he lived in the us, and he doesn't even have a vpn... Just sad man. Thanks for shedding light on this sort of stuff.
its his fault that he didn't protect his account, even if you get banned in different games because some1 exploited in your account they will never unban you if you show them the evidence that someone logged into your account
I've never really seen xonae as a professional, much like every other rolve member. Rather than being a professional team of developers they're just a group of teens/young adults who do what ever the hell they want with what they created.
Dude I watch this with full agreement. I'm banned on counter blox trading (not the game itself but the trading section) and when I try asking what was my reason for it, they refused to even cooperate. I've never landed myself in a trading scam nor had any duped items yet they make cooperation so much harder than to just look/tell me.

This isn't surprising at all, if you were around back in the Counter Blox days you'd know how scummy ROLVe's own dev team was. . They false ban people they don't like, it's always been that way. There was good evidence of some of their devs/people associated with the devs scamming players in counter blox. It's really old news tho.
It is completely absurd but Rolve gets away with it. It is so weird how Rolve is fine with having people make competitive communities but then you have people like Xonae not care about someone's ban appeal all because they are a comp player? It's terrible!
And that's how i stopped loving Rolve, a dev team i used to absolutely be in love with it, mostly with Counter Blox and TC2
Most arsenal mods are banned from all the games i work/ worked for being toxic i hate them.
Developers should NEVER have access to ANY moderation permissions; You're building, scripting, modeling, whatever for a game. You just do stuff for the game's updates and such:

My point wasn't the accusation itself, it was more of using the word pedophilia with such a negative implied meaning in such a case like this, where there wouldn't be any reason to suspect it. You have a biased view on him, clearly, and I don't blame you for that - however I seriously hope you don't think power-trip automatically implies that you could be grooming someone, or that you are a pedophile.
In the end, I am not the one to say whether or not his behavior seems off-putting to you, as it is subjective and therefore it's not my place to decide what you view him as - but I do believe it's problematic if you jump the gun like this.

i got ip banned by an hacker on arsenal just because i told him " actually play the game instead of hacking" for exactly 305 years. i tried appealing 3 YEARS AGO and they never responded. i also got a warn from roblox for "cheat and exploits" for telling the hacker to actually play

Just today I had bought a private server which costed me 100 robux.
I had bought this private server for my brothers and I too have fun in.
I found out that the rocket launcher had the same rocket jump ability just like the heavy sniper rifle in the video.
I was playing block battle and I had won the match, but I was shown a message saying that I was banned for cheating.
I left the server and rejoined only too be told that I was perma banned from Arsenal
I am confused and fustrated because I lost 100 robux in a matter of 30 mins, and funny enough I wasnt exploiting or cheating, I dont even know how to exploit at all.
Wish we could do something about it. These moderators need to get some experience. I never knew about this since I have been a normal arsenal player for years and years, I have just been focused on playing the game, but now that I realize how big of a problem this moderation really is, and how much they are lying. It's crazy how they really try to pretend like your ban was an anti-cheat ban is crazy. These videos you make are super important, I hope something can be done about this.

I am a programmer. I haven't got many many experience as a mod but, I know when someone exploits and when someone doesn't exploit. I dont just ban someone because the kill feed shows they are the only one killing.

I was perma banned from Arsenal 4 years ago by the anti cheat, even though I did literally nothing wrong. When I got in contact with a mod, he said, “That’s the old anti cheat, I can’t do anything about it.”, which pisses me off, since my account has now been completely blocked from ever even touching Arsenal ever again and it was due to the anti cheat which apparently “is 99.9% accurate”.

I feel like RAC at times does sometimes copy's off VAC. It feels like Rolve is slowly turning into VALVe.
rolve is already acting like valve lol, extremely sub-standard update frequencies for all of their live services, minimal staff (avg triple-A has thousands of employees, valve has ~350), egotistic power-tripping people (sean vanaman). but the difference is that the devs at valve are mostly absolute elites in their field, and when faced with criticism, they look down at their desk and keep working to make the game better. when rolve devs are faced with criticism, they double down on their decision.

Even though the mods have done scummy things, It is kinda understandable why they behave this way. It would be a nightmare to moderate a game with thousands of players daily. I don't think the mods have enough time to overanalyze every ban appeal that comes their way. I think the only solution for Rolve at this point is to hire more mods and really take their time to find out if someone would be good for the role. That way they won't be spread so thin and they can offer better assistance to those that need it. Just to clarify, I do not agree with xonae's ideas or principles, I am just analyzing how it would feel to be on their side of the problem.

When I played roblox arsenal a couple years back, I remember people saying that arsenal moderation is stupid and dumb and that they should fix themselves. Fast forward like a year, I felt like you when the mail bot thing came out and I was super happy because arsenal could have better moderation now. I then quit arsenal for a couple of months, and came back to play comp. One day, I was scrolling through the channels in the arsenal discord, and I saw the exploit channel with the mail bot thing. AND THERE WERE LIKE NO APPEALED BANS! And I knew that xonae was a bad dev, but not this bad lol.

Xonae's ego is way to big, and he definitely is a prime example of how too much power can control people, no matter how good of people they used to be. Xonae is an extremely biases person, who really doesn't deserve his power. He doesn't care about the community unless they are his friends, and really only cares about the profit he makes from this. Xonae needs to step out of the position he has and maybe rolve needs to spread that power out.

When xonae said “i could ban someone purely because i don’t like them” he cannot be blamed as a developer. He is only telling you the truth, it is his game and he can do what he wants with it. And same goes for the developer of EVERY Roblox game on the platform.
In fact, this goes for EVERY online game. Xonae speaks for every online game developer in the world. Next time you join an online server, the developer of the software is silently telling everyone “i could ban someone purely because i don’t like them” and it’s not false.
I’ve had extremely traumatic experiences with ingame moderation in the past, which is why I don’t play Roblox or any video games at all that I didn’t make anymore. And it could always happen to you because the developer didn’t like the way you breathe.
Just think about that next time you join a game.

i do can tell rolves moderation team looks much better when we compare them to csp3 [carry people simulator 3]. The game itself can be fun with friends, but easily get bored of for many reasons, one of them being the game is ultimately pay to win, theres a total of 9 items to give you advantage above f2p players and in total youll waste 1365 robux to get all of them, without counting the ammount of bugs the game has to offer, one of which annoys me the most is called "rope glitch" along with the rope gamepass and ingame item you can softlock someone to keep getting killed, the only form of stopping that is if someone kills the player doing the bug or you leave the server, and theres a map rotation system which if you dont die/teleport to the map you keep there, the bug user never dies and you keep dying without anyone to stop it, you could also try to report in the discord server but, apparently the game is working on a update fixing all these bugs, for reference i cant remember the game having a update since last year, no bug fixes, quality of life changes, anything. talking about the discord, its much worse, to start off youll be welcomed with someone pinging you and calling you bbg...? theres a guy who keeps doing that to anyone who joins and this is least weird thing in that server, second: the chat, the general chat is filled with racist people, im not over exxagerating, when it isnt them saying lewd stuff about their fetishes its racism, the only thing the server doesnt allow is slurs which is the not even the least to do as they allow the type of stuff. third: moderation team, as i said the rolve moderation team is much, MUCH better than csp3 moderation team, for the least you can report exploiters there, they actually get punished, however like i said bug abusers wont be punished, whether on private server or public, i tried, also the moderators wont do anything to racism in chat, the most you can get is a skull emoji from a mod replying to the most racist phrase you can think of, they claim to give out warnings in private but if they actually did, most of the racist users would be banned also i remember a time some weird user was being lewd and when i tried telling him to stop being such a moderator threatned to ban me for having the worst response in a chat, and lastly even if you try to help the server, they will ignore you. i once attempted to suggest making the rules more strict since such stuff but it got completely ignored. ultimately, after all of that i decided to make the best decision of leaving the server, the only reason you would wanna be there is to report exploiters but theres no such point in even playing the game and the announcements channel is useless as there is no more updates. and thats how csp3 sits as of today.

When you claim that the ban reason of "RAC BANNED" occures, that messages displays when you get manually banned by a moderator in another server, i have knowledge on how anticheat and ban panels work and thats the reason your ban said RAC BANNED the first time
