I had a personal encounter with him and had asked about his history. He gave me sarcastic answers, then had blocked me for no apparent reason. That's when he moved over to rolve, and it's safe to say that nothing about him has really changed. Egotistic, creepy, narcissistic, weirdo. I was chain banned in TC2, though I was rightfully banned for exploiting in Arsenal (The reason for exploiting is because of the Night's Edge boss, I always down him to 180-/+, I would never use it against player) I think they should remove chain ban honestly, TC2 is the only game I cared for, and arguably exploiters can change, and the one who was falsely banned by RAC like you has to suffer not being able to play other popular ROLVE games... The devs are messed up anyways.
i got RAC banned in tc2 for "bypassing chat filter." i believe i got banned for saying "rule 34" when i was explaining my 1st ban on tc2 to another player who experienced the same thing. i love rolve!!11
I've never really seen xonae as a professional, much like every other rolve member. Rather than being a professional team of developers they're just a group of teens/young adults who do what ever the hell they want with what they created.
the fact they won't show you any evidence for what got you banned is a huge issue. that's like going to a court case and not knowing what crime you were accused of (thus having 0 preperation and such). also they have a huge lack of professionalism. (ego issues too)
I remember a couple of years ago, i had a convo with one of the mods in the game talking about how they should really fix their moderation system as i used to run into exploiters every like 3 games. They told me "Don't see one here so i'm doing a good job", I was honestly baffled by how unprofessional they are with their team. I also tried informing them on Bad Business' sort of auto-detection for exploiters that i believed work efficiently more than theirs', only for them to say that who cares, people will still bypass it in the end.
I'm glad that someone made a video like this because I've been falsely banned for 1 year and I've talked to mods and after a while they just ignored me witch sucked.

Yep. I was in the Discord for a good while and that was probably the time I lost my innocence (this was during COVID). Around this time last year I had a few catfish accounts... and let's just say some of the people inside the discord (mods included) are incredibly perverted.
I was in it around 2018? I was one of the few people who played Arsenal back when it got rebooted and was pretty popular on the Discord server. I've seen hypocrisy and perversion in several moderators and it's unimaginable to think that the devs allowed these people to moderate a server for a kids game.@@wintorialslift

I'm banned on counter blox trading (not the game itself but the trading section) and when I try asking what was my reason for it, they refused to even cooperate. I've never landed myself in a trading scam nor had any duped items yet they make cooperation so much harder than to just look/tell me.

Developers should NEVER have access to ANY moderation permissions; You're building, scripting, modeling, whatever for a game. Even though the mods have done scummy things, It is kinda understandable why they behave this way. It would be a nightmare to moderate a game with thousands of players daily. I don't think the mods have enough time to overanalyze every ban appeal that comes their way. I think the only solution for Rolve at this point is to hire more mods and really take their time to find out if someone would be good for the role. That way they won't be spread so thin and they can offer better assistance to those that need it. Just to clarify, I do not agree with xonae's ideas or principles, I am just analyzing how it would feel to be on their side of the problem.

I am a programmer. I haven't got many many experience as a mod but, I know when someone exploits and when someone doesn't exploit. I dont just ban someone because the kill feed shows they are the only one killing.

When I played roblox arsenal a couple years back, I remember people saying that arsenal moderation is stupid and dumb and that they should fix themselves. Fast forward like a year, I felt like you when the mail bot thing came out and I was super happy because arsenal could have better moderation now. I then quit arsenal for a couple of months, and came back to play comp. One day, I was scrolling through the channels in the arsenal discord, and I saw the exploit channel with the mail bot thing. AND THERE WERE LIKE NO APPEALED BANS! And I knew that xonae was a bad dev, but not this bad lol. Thanks for putting this video together to make me understand how bad arsenal moderation is.
I totally agree with you. Just today I had bought a private server which costed me 100 robux. I had bought this private server for my brothers and I too have fun in. I found out that the rocket launcher had the same rocket jump ability just like the heavy sniper rifle in the video. I was playing block battle and I had won the match, but I was shown a message saying that I was banned for cheating. I left the server and rejoined only too be told that I was perma banned from Arsenal I am confused and fustrated because I lost 100 robux in a matter of 30 mins, and funny enough I wasnt exploiting or cheating, I dont even know how to exploit at all.
Xonae's ego is way to big, and he definitely is a prime example of how too much power can control people, no matter how good of people they used to be. Xonae is an extremely biases person, who really doesn't deserve his power. He doesn't care about the community unless they are his friends, and really only cares about the profit he makes from this. Xonae needs to step out of the position he has and maybe rolve needs to spread that power out.
I was perma banned from Arsenal 4 years ago by the anti cheat, even though I did literally nothing wrong. When I got in contact with a mod, he said, “That’s the old anti cheat, I can’t do anything about it.”, which pisses me off, since my account has now been completely blocked from ever even touching Arsenal ever again and it was due to the anti cheat which apparently “is 99.9% accurate”.
Yeah i know they falsely banned me and all they tell me is i must have have cheated or exploited bc its a rac ban or something. rolve is already acting like valve lol, extremely sub-standard update frequencies for all of their live services, minimal staff (avg triple-A has thousands of employees, valve has ~350), egotistic power-tripping people (sean vanaman). but the difference is that the devs at valve are mostly absolute elites in their field, and when faced with criticism, they look down at their desk and keep working to make the game better. when rolve devs are faced with criticism, they double down on their decision.

Developers should NEVER have access to ANY moderation permissions; You're building, scripting, modeling, whatever for a game. You just do stuff for the game's updates and such:

My point wasn't the accusation itself, it was more of using the word pedophilia with such a negative implied meaning in such a case like this, where there wouldn't be any reason to suspect it. You have a biased view on him, clearly, and I don't blame you for that - however I seriously hope you don't think power-trip automatically implies that you could be grooming someone, or that you are a pedophile.
In the end, I am not the one to say whether or not his behavior seems off-putting to you, as it is subjective and therefore it's not my place to decide what you view him as - but I do believe it's problematic if you jump the gun like this.

Even though the mods have done scummy things, It is kinda understandable why they behave this way. It would be a nightmare to moderate a game with thousands of players daily. I don't think the mods have enough time to overanalyze every ban appeal that comes their way. I think the only solution for Rolve at this point is to hire more mods and really take their time to find out if someone would be good for the role. That way they won't be spread so thin and they can offer better assistance to those that need it. Just to clarify, I do not agree with xonae's ideas or principles, I am just analyzing how it would feel to be on their side of the problem.

I am a programmer. I haven't got many many experience as a mod but, I know when someone exploits and when someone doesn't exploit. I dont just ban someone because the kill feed shows they are the only one killing.

When I played roblox arsenal a couple years back, I remember people saying that arsenal moderation is stupid and dumb and that they should fix themselves. Fast forward like a year, I felt like you when the mail bot thing came out and I was super happy because arsenal could have better moderation now. I then quit arsenal for a couple of months, and came back to play comp. One day, I was scrolling through the channels in the arsenal discord, and I saw the exploit channel with the mail bot thing. AND THERE WERE LIKE NO APPEALED BANS! And I knew that xonae was a bad dev, but not this bad lol.

Just today I had bought a private server which costed me 100 robux.
I had bought this private server for my brothers and I too have fun in.
I found out that the rocket launcher had the same rocket jump ability just like the heavy sniper rifle in the video.
I was playing block battle and I had won the match, but I was shown a message saying that I was banned for cheating.
I left the server and rejoined only too be told that I was perma banned from Arsenal
I am confused and fustrated because I lost 100 robux in a matter of 30 mins, and funny enough I wasnt exploiting or cheating, I dont even know how to exploit at all.
Xonae's ego is way to big, and he definitely is a prime example of how too much power can control people, no matter how good of people they used to be. Xonae is an extremely biases person, who really doesn't deserve his power. He doesn't care about the community unless they are his friends, and really only cares about the profit he makes from this. Xonae needs to step out of the position he has and maybe rolve needs to spread that power out.
Dude he's a fucking kid, he can't abuse much. It's easy to outsmart kids.

I was perma banned from Arsenal 4 years ago by the anti cheat, even though I did literally nothing wrong. When I got in contact with a mod, he said, “That’s the old anti cheat, I can’t do anything about it.”, which pisses me off, since my account has now been completely blocked from ever even touching Arsenal ever again and it was due to the anti cheat which apparently “is 99.9% accurate”.

I feel like RAC at times does sometimes copy's off VAC. It feels like Rolve is slowly turning into VALVe.
rolve is already acting like valve lol, extremely sub-standard update frequencies for all of their live services, minimal staff (avg triple-A has thousands of employees, valve has ~350), egotistic power-tripping people (sean vanaman). but the difference is that the devs at valve are mostly absolute elites in their field, and when faced with criticism, they look down at their desk and keep working to make the game better. when rolve devs are faced with criticism, they double down on their decision.
Its weird to me why they say, (devs) we do not like harassment, even though they didn't take responsibility immediately to prevent it from receiving that harassment.
