Three corrections Alexander Zverev actually had even more breakpoints than I said in the video which was 18 (and not 16 as I unintentionally said in the video) and Federer won Miami in 2019 as a 37 year old, and not in 2018 as I said in the video. And last but certainly not least, Federer's birthday is in August, and not July. Something that I obviously know, but when you talk as much as I do, you mix up both months and numbers sometimes hehe😉 Apart from these three mistakes, everything else is correct. Enjoy the video now my tennis friends all around the world. Cheers😉
It is very sad to see that Big 3 era is very close to the end,it was honor as a tenis fan to whitnes Big 3 era the greatest era in tenis history,I just hope That Djokovic can win at least one more grand slam title.
Roger’s attacking game made him more successful in his 37’s, 38’s and 39’s. Nadal and Novak are counter punchers and have lost their edge as soon as they reached 37. Having said that, I think Novak has the ability/agility and body to evolve his game. Let’s see if he is motivated to win more. I sense one more push from Novak coming. Let’s see.
What are you talking about, Nadal and Djokovic are light years ahead of Federer in theirs 30's wins, when they already declined. You're just narrowing the goalposts here. The reason they win so much despite a declined attrition style game, because they can wear down and extract injuries and errors from their opponents, they scare them. Fed has a nice game and for that no one was fazed by him. If no roof Rafa likely wins this RG, he was a hair away, if you properlly watched the match, basically the real final, somehow Zverev did not choke either like he usually does. Huge upset. imo. If Alcaraz shows injury signs and the 1st quarter with the clay spcialists brutalize each other i will be more sure Nadal came real close of winning.
@aurei show me Fed record in his 30s Vs Djokovic and Nadal in there 30s it be close win % only difference one guy had harder competition then the other 2
Guys chill… Inter was talking about Fed being 1 point away from a slam when he was close to 38. He did not talk about who is better in the 30s…. You guys always miss the context :)
Thanks for the video Inter. I think there’s a few things to mention here: An easier draw would have seen Rafa win probably one or two matches to build up form in Roland Garros and who knows maybe after those games he could have given Zverev a better game. I still think he was competitive against him and on another day he wins that second set and then who knows! I think he’s earned the right to decide when to retire and I’m sure he’ll be smart enough to pick the moment. In the meantime let’s enjoy the matches he plays because they’re probably gonna be the last ones and we’ll miss him for sure. Take care
In my view or opinion, l think in all honest, Rafa should not have participated or taken part in this year's RG tournament in so far as not to dent his records at RG further is concerned. RG's records in my view and what he's achieved there doesn't deserve to be dented like that for future talk and debate.🤷🤷🤦🤷
It’s sad to see Nadal and some of his fans being so obsessed. It was obvious back in 2022 that that was that. He could have had a Sampras like ending back then. Now it’s more and more Murray-like…they just don‘t let go like champions back in the days did. Would be a nice video topic: why don’t they quit anymore?
?? What are you even saying? 2022 he won 2 slams, SF of Wimbledon, then got injured. Why on earth would he retire that year?? He then tried to recover and be ready for RG the next year, but got another injury. 2023 is the year to consider retirement, but he chose to try for one more year so he can retire whilst playing on the court, rather than retiring from home. moronic comment.
Nadal said most likely he’s not playing Wimbledon so his next tournament is probably a clay tournament before Olympics or the Olympics after that is TBD
Great analysis:) Honestly, Nadal should not have played to keep the win-lose ratio with only 3 losses in order to ensure that it is nearly impossible to beat him at the French Open on paper. However, with an additional loss and that being in the 1st round would probably affect his legacy. The reason for that is because he lost to two opponents who have never won a Grand Slam (GS) title. If he had kept the record of only one player never winning a GS tournament, it would made it even better, but it seems that this loss would just make Nadal seem more human. Although, losing to Djokovic is completely understandable since he has overall 24 GS titles.
The fact you wanted Weakdal to dodge the competition forever just shows how weak minded his entire fanbase is, bunch of weak cowards you lot are. Real man goes out there and playes the best he can, win or lose. There is no such thing as tarnished reputation if you go out there, give your best and go out like a man, and for once, Weakdal at least showed some cojones, so credit to him for that. Of course years of dodging his main rival off clay, a lot of shady stuff he has done before, including joining that fake AO freak show where the losers did their best to damage Goatkovic to no avail, overshadows anything positive he has done since for me, but at least he didnt give up like a sissy before the tournament that he often does to save his skin, so cudos to him for that. I have some doubt that this might not be his last match. Depends of Goatkovic winning slams. If Novak wins 1 or 2 more slams, i think then Weakdal might hand up the racquet for good, he wont be thinking he can get that any more. Perhaps there is still some small delusion he can bridge this 2(realistically 3*) slam gap between him and his superior, but the way he played today, nah, he is ready to meet his boi mr 40:15 at the top of the Mount Everest 😭😭🤣🤙🤙 Bye, bye Rafito, has been a good run 🖐🤣
Interi, I watched the match and in my opinion Nadal didn't lose because of his injuries and old age but because he didn't execute the tactics properly against Zverev. Nadal's level was good enough to win against 95% of the tour, but Zverev just belongs in that elite 5%. Nadal would've definitely won if this was a semi or final match. I am a Djokovic fan but I think Nadal has at least has 5 more RG titles in him until 2032. That's why Nadal says that he's not retiring. Novak thinks that the slam race is done and dusted and that's why he has lost his motivation and is playing horrible tennis. He doesn't realize that Nadal is coming back for the slam record. I am heartbroken 💔
I am Nadal’s biggest fans and you cannot say things like this. His level was not good against 95% of the tour. It’s simply not true. The reason was not tactical, but age. Let’s just accept the truth and appreciate him.
Although externally, Nadal would pretend that he is not after records and make salty statements that he was not frustrated like Novak, the real truth is that he is so desperate to chase Novak's record. Still, after this massive embarassment, underwhelming performance and broken body, he still isn't sure if it is his last French open and that tells us all
Your statement here seems more "salty" than anything Nadal stated after his 2024 FO defeat. What record of Djokovic is Nadal "so desperate to chase"? You're trying to give the impression here that Nadal had never led the way in terms of most slams won. On top of that he accomplished his career GS at a younger age that Djokovic. If Nadal lost just his 4th FO match out of 100 plus, and you chose to describe it as a "massive embarassment," then why blame him even if disappointment were so much on his face? Nadal, to me, handles himself better in defeat than both Djokovic and Federer. He don't cry after been defeated. I've seen that from both Djokovic and Federer. Nadal is also more gracious in victory. Listen to what he said to Federer after he won the 2009 AO. If you don't like Nadal, that's fine. But this BS you posted here makes no sense, whatsoever.
