This is from 1991. I worked on it and Flip was the director/producer. The artwork was all silkscreen prints cut to to match drawn animation. Towards the end where there is a center split screen effect; we comped together 2 separate passes of film in editing. I drew the matte for that effect directly onto a strip of clear 16 mm film. It took us a lot of hours of filming on the oxberry to finish this. I remember going in to film on the morning of the 23rd of December and stumbling home sometime on the evening of the 24th.

I recorded the short on VHS in late December 2001, so MTV might have aired it again because of it's 10th anniversary. It proves great art lives on.
