Sadly i think you've tried every single combination lol. Viktor just needs a buff or they have to make an item to counter Kaenic Rookern, that thing is just OP
One basic tip: Dont build full morello, the stats you gain from morello you could basically also gain, from building other items further, while sitting on oblivion orb, getting you close to the next big legendary item passive. This game I would have sat on that orb and went toward rabadons for sure. I also love this new season tbh, you can be a lot more creative in your builds and since damage is nerfed, I dont have to perma play pokemages anymore, but get to play a lot more controllmages, which are running rampant right now. Anivia for example deals a shit ton of damage this season, because her items all got changes to damage only. With malignance archangels cryptbloom you still have a ton of CDR though, while being able to survive burst duells and healing up right after. I think viktor also feels pretty good in 2 different build paths this season, either you go for shieldbash, with boneplating second and play archangels, lichbane cryptbloom or what I like playing into squishy comps is Archangels, Ludens into rabadons, cryptbloom and maybe finishing off with either malignance, Liandry or Horizon Focus. I kinda wish that cosmic felt a little better on viktor, but so far, I think its a waste of my damage to go for it instead of items, that have some kind of damage ampliphier. There is definitly other mages who like cosmic drive though, like cassuipeia, Orianna, vlad and swain. But so far I think the best mage Items in the game, are cryptbloom Archangels and Liandry, because they could be build on almost anyone.
Morello is pretty damn gold efficient, potentially worth building it out if you buy an oblivion orb anyways. Also this season's TTK is signficantly lower than last's and control mages outside of Anivia have some of the worst winrates they've had in like two years lol. CDR is insanley hard to get and Rookern just makes ap dmg worthless.
@@Lors_101I disagree, gold effiency is not the thing you should go after, otherwise why wouldnt you buildnt the most gold efficient item on every champion. It puts you 1500 gold behind the curve on gaining more legendary item passives, which are far more important than stats in most cases or sometimes even gain you more stats. I would recommend to anyone to really look at whats practical and not what is gold efficient, because I think this argument blinds a lot of people.
@@Lors_101 I also dont think winrate is a valuable stat, demonstrated on champions like Vladimir, who once had a patch where he would get nerfed, yet riot forgot to patch his nerf in. The player base kept saying how bad Vlad felt now and his WR even dropped, demonstrating that feelings on a champion have an effect on winrate. But there is also a lot of other factors, like bad item building, match ups the champ gets picked into, the skill of the player, runes, summonerspells, roles the champ is played in. Winrate is a horrible stat, to figure things out by in general. There is still example that stick out like 56% winrates where I kinda get it, but quite often those are utility champs, which people dont wanna play, even if they are op, like janna, Zac or singed at the start of the season.
@@tomwanders6022 The vlad winrate dropped because vlad players played worse across the board. They gaslit themselves into thinking their champion did less dmg so they less effectively utilized their kit. People's feelings aren't really the reason his winrate dropped it's the players playing him worse. Also this happened literally in season 1 where players were dogshit and had no clue what they were doing. The game is a lot more figured out nowadays. Winrate isn't an end all be all but it's a very good stat to use as a baseline. 56% winrate is fine if the champion is played rarely, meaning that it's often used as a counter pick by a dedicated playerbase. On the flip side blind pick champions like Jayce always having 47-48% winrate is fine because he always gets counter picked and is a harder champion to play. Things like Syndra and Oriana having 100k games played and a 47% winrate is neither of these. They have average pick rates and low winrates. Also this argument is dumb in the first place. If a champion had a 50-52% winrate last season and they now have a 47-48% winrate they by definition win less meaning you're less likely to win your games and rank up as playing them now. Saying they're better when they're literally by definition statistically worse is a dumb thing to say.
@@tomwanders6022 Ideally you do build the most gold efficient item on every single champion. It's just that some item passives aren't calculated into gold efficiency so you have to sim dmg and see if the passive makes the item more gold efficient. On a champion like Viktor that has insanely good ap ratios usually raw stats are going to be better than item passives unless you already have a lot of ap and the item passive has good ap scaling/cuts a lot of mr. Without running the numbers/simming I don't think it's black and white if spending 1500 gold on a mediocre item is better than holding onto a dogshit 800 gold item and putting future gold into a new legendary item. Like do I want to spend 1250 gold towards a rabadons for 60 ap or spend 1500 gold for 60 ap and 15 ah. Plus in higher elos most games very well could end before you finish your 2nd/3rd item so just finishing the item and getting the stat boost is probably also better in shorter games instead of trying to play for the long con. Last season morello wasn't gold efficient so spending like 2000 gold on a dogshit item with bad stats and no bonus passive wasn't worth it but now it's insanley cheap and gives you a bunch of stats (including ah which is hard to get on items) so it's more compelling nowadays.
I think they should remove the restriction ofonly tower units with TP but add a nerf that if you die once you respawn you have to wait 10 seconds to use TP (only the first 10/14 min of the game) so you actually get punish for die but you can actually use TP for something else than just go back to lane
@@loandbaxhuku9617 who doesn't remember those times but what is the point on taking a teleport if you just use it to go at the same lane but faster. That's my aproach but the point is to let other's summoners spell to be used in the midlane
Upload more man, the people demand more funny laser beam guy. Maybe on 2nd channel if you don't want to just post 'random' vods where you don't hard carry, I'd like to see more games where you don't begin the game 3-0 with upgraded E on minute 4
lmk if u guys got any build suggestions you want me to try out, needa try some new stuff out

Idk about a new build but I’ve been having fun just playing Viktor support in QP, can’t speak for the strength of it since I’m a shitter
Lich bane Shadowflame rush & sorc boots first prob
Tear into lichbane > ah boots > Shadowflame > raba etc
Liandrys -> Riftmaker -> Cosmic Drive
What even is that thumbnail dude. 😂

how much cs should you get a min on viktor?
Ideally 8+. Scaling champ that needs cs for his ability upgrades.
