A bit of a spoiler/ context here.... Our world (3d) is the world before the "Great Cataclysm" happened. So basically, every "Great Cataclysm" alters the world, turning from 3d to 2d (which is now the Fire Force Universe).
What do you mean stretch it out? In order for it to adapt everything remaining from the manga it needs to be at best 32 Episodes long. But its only two cours which means its most likely only 24 Episodes which means it'll be rushed to kingdom come unless the two cours are actually 16 Episodes long each. Season 1 covered 8 Arcs, a total of 90 Chapters into 24 Episodes. Season 2 covered 8 Arcs, a total of 83 Chapters into again 24 Episodes. Season 3 will cover 10 Arcs covering a total of 130 Chapters. The Final Arc aka Arc 9 (Arc 10 is a short 2 Chapter Epilogue Arc) is the longest Arc, 52 Chapters long. This Final Season has alot of room to cover.
Fire for is the only manga that gave me chills. Not even one piece did that even though it’s my 2nd fav anime of all time. So Everyone reading this comment who didn’t read the manga. Beware of spoilers and your experience will be CATACLYSMIC🔥
