I ordered some of these. Very comfy. I wish they came standard with welted seams. It would complete the old school look.

Pretty sure these are not Mexican style boxing gloves. As far as I know, Ray Flores was from Burlingame, California, and his grandson Dan Mosby continued making gloves in the Flores name with the same style, which I'd consider a quintessential American old school style.

@@behzadbehzad626 The padding is very very soft. I got mine a few years ago and I think he changed the padding, so keep that in mind. Anyway, the padding has broke down and I can feel my knuckle protrude. Best for sparring when they are new and with this particular padding

Actually, according to Topboxer if you want those white seams to complete the look, you could get them customized, but the price is like $149 for any custom gloves on the website. That's your best bet.
According to me I'm the one who advised him on how to go about making an updated version of the Flores gloves. Although the original patterns were supplied by Bill Boxing. AKA Beaulieu boxing. I have a couple of pairs of real Flores boxing gloves myself. I even have one of the 1st prototypes of the old school gloves w/ welted seams made years ago. Still in great condition and good for sparring.

I'm thinking of buying some. But how do they feel in sparring... Bulky not bulky. How does it feel when you hit someone with it. How do they feel getting hit by it.
My experience with these were cool, and I really enjoyed them but I felt like the foam did not hold up. I think I used them for like 2 months mostly some bag work... I am a heavyweight & got 16 oz with a custom hand compartment. Wish other companies did this style glove for sure
They need to be latex padding to last longer. Or a combination of dense Latex and some softer foam underneath for a longer lasting padded glove 🤙🏼
Loma Vs Lopez Predictions??? I got Loma winning by either points or late round stoppage.
Your right loma is a better boxer by far and he has fought the better competition, but with that said this will be his toughest test yet he's never been hit by a guy like Lopez, and thow rare lesser boxers have hit him occasionally, Lopez can make a dozen mistakes in this fight, but loma can't make one, even a broken clock is right twice aday!
@@kellynulph7213 agreed. I hope that Loma wins. Lopez kinda pissed me off with that shitty attitude but I bet his father plays a big role in that. I think Lopez is a good boxer, but Loma isn't playing around and he's just overall a new level of skill. Its gonna be a crazy fight for sure.

i found that my pair has uneven finger compartments :/ the left glove was way longer and it makes contact with the piping when making a fist

I’m conflicted on if I should stick with Sabas super soft customs to spar or top boxer win1 customs? Although I feel like top boxer closely resembles winnings sabas closely reminds me of grants but better still undecided tho I’ve got a pair of custom pro series 16oz in sabas. Also I don’t mind spending money as well

@@csquaredboxing just got a pair, these are definitely huge for the weight. Funny enough, the finger compartment was too small for me. My left and right glove were also made differently (guess its a handmade issue)
