For me, feels like a short enough throw as it is standard tbh, never really bought into the short shifter thing 🤷♂️ That mongoose cat back you've got but de res is what I'm holding out for, seems to be the sweet spot for me between comfortable normal driving and a nice exhaust note hitting the loud pedal 😄 The noisy arse KMS Section 18 that's on just now is a bit much for me as a daily lol
Glad you said it, definitely made change to 2nd easier for me (mine is well up and been on a year).
I'm happy with standard shifter so not looking to change but each to their own, another informative video, cheers
Had mine in this position for over a year with no issues, for peace of mind just check tightness every 3-6 months.
Move the ball thing back to get a nicer throw too mate you have yours at the front where the gear cable connects to the shifter
Do you know if this will fit a standard mk2?

Yeah, could go loud as I drive it every day.. I like to hear the whoosh.. but might consider the mongoose non res at some point for a try 🙂
The short shift is 100% worth it from how long it is stock
How many miles has yrs done lordee
91,000
This is my daily for work.... so about 12,000 a year... if keep, engine rebuild in the future
