Blame the game? Can't do that cuz it's still fun. Blame Riot? Maybe, they did go all in on competition and competitiveness for the first 10 years. And now they have a majority of the hard core player base
But people who play competitive tetris play it for the challenge. They want to challenge themselves. They play on really hard difficulties because of that. This arena thing is the equivalent of going to tetris, treating it like a competitive esports thing but then playing on the literal easiest settings you can possibly tune it to. Youre not doing it for the challenge, you just want the win, especially over others@@McWillis
i love doing support kayle with the new healing sword thing and if u can get lucky with the healing support quest to do on hit dmg based on your heal/sheild she can do kinda nuts dmg whilst keeping your teammate alive too
I love the idea of Arena, but find it just devolves into people meta-slaving for wins just like the base game. So I think it'll be a game mode I just give a hard pass. Good video though
Ive been really enjoying this game mode. It got me to come back to League after a 4 year break. Hwei and Arena are league finally getting things right, in my eyes. Loving the game a lot right now.

I kid you not, I was playing briar one time with two curse augments, specifically that of armor and hp (the hp one I got incredibly early on). 17k hp, 1k defenses. got taken down because of fiora being fiora. There is a reason she is my permaban now, ridiculous champ.
I play singed in arena. No I won't apologize, because I often times go full AP or (if I get ethereal weapons) on-hit singed. Blossoming dawn, bork, and hatchet are so fucking funny
Every time I pick Azir, my duo picks Talon. We have a 0% winrate with that comp, when anything else involving Azir or Talon is at least 50%. Team comp matters. Don't pick a champ that has negative synergy with your teammate
The most fun things i got in this gamemode was Milio×Soraka(run for ur life) and Rammus×Soraka(heal to death(the most fun I was top damage with 0 damage items🤣)) both times i got "holy fire" augment as Soraka, but in Milio game we was vs tank Leona×Yuumi so only chance to kill her was fire circle in the end of the battle
ive had a lot of success with leona and darius. its incredibly oppressive especially if leona gets the augment that heals her when she ccs someone and the one that gives her e 200 haste.
so funny when you said a combination that needs no intro cus what was before it was a 1.5 minute intro and then followed by another 30 seconds of intro
you forgot to mention the stall archetype it has nothing to do with displacing the enemy unlike "pushers" it just has to do with outlasting the enemy in the final zone using revive or stasis effects

You can’t really meta slave that hard though. All it takes is one lucky troll comp to demolish a “meta” comp. Can’t be meta if you get oneshot lol

I've been enjoying Diana with the augment that gives auto attack damage for 100%of your AP. Kinda insane 😂
the combined 400 years bleed sisters, nafiri and briar is just overall good and you can do tank briar with crit and health or support briar

my faveorite is nunu galio, its so funny you go full ap maybe a spirit visage

Below 4.5k points = tanky bruisers/off tanks
5k+ points = all assasins
