To be honest....I like this album. I am a lifelong Elvis Fan (grew up with his music) and I agree that his music doesn't need remixes but.....these are cool anyway. The remixes do the original justice because you still recognize the songs. The beat add something fresh. Yep, I like it! Well done!
You can't make Elvis bad or uncool. I love that people want to update his songs for a new era. Young Elvis, Fat Elvis, Posthumous Elvis. All cool.

This is one of Elvis' earliest hits mixed with kitsch images from his later Las Vegas days-- that's what's wrong with it. It's incongruous , especially for people who were with E since the early days. We love the Sun Sessions pure and simple as they were.

this is pretty cool, the kid in the video kicks ass.... The younger Elvis probably could have appreciated this, the older Elvis probably would not, from some of the videos I saw of Elvis he kind of started believing that he was King, he seemed humble most times but like most people from videos I have seen sometime he had a swollen head, granted I wasn't there I was born a month before he died but I still am a big fan..........

To AAACopywriter: dangerous? IMHO you should open up you mind a little bit. Remember when the journalists wrote in the 50s that the kids going to Elvis's concerts should have been smacked on their mouth? They tought that Elvis was DANGEROUS. Elvis was an innovator, always pushing music beyond the boundaries and I'm sure he'd have loved this remix and this video.

@waianapagirl I believe though that Elvis & The Beatles music is as big today with young & old without Remixes, but it is good to see people doing this sort of thing for the right reason.

@waianapagirl I dont agree, but yes he did like to stay current, but he always did this by doing new song or cover versions that were current, he did not like his recordings & productions to be changed. If you've ever heard the story about "Suspicious Minds" single mix being changed without him knowing under the instruction of Parker. He was not happy with it and just made him more determined to return to performing live. So we do have something to thank Parker for.
@davekm43 P.S. "Way Down" was current in '77 just like "Hearbreak Hotel" was in '56. If he was alive today & still recording he would be doing modern songs in a modern way not changing the original recordings, he never did remixes during his career, & before you say it, there were different mix being releases of albums & tracks at that time. The Beatles released 2 mixes of every album up to the "White Album" in Mono & Stereo & the instruments were also mixed differently. So think what you like!!

Nothing wrong with the video at all.Ray Adkins.Shows 2 kids as a very early Elvis and Princella Presley (but updated to modern day) meeting up and enjoying a night in an arcade.Fantastic stuff from Spankox and whoever put the video together.
Had this kid had on regular clothes, no stupid wig, and just did the same thing, it would be much more effective. This way, a mockery is made of Elvis. I simply cannot stand those wigs and cheap outfits. Takes away from any creation anyone is trying to accomplish. A cute kid doing Elvis would have been fine.

Long live Elvis this is rubbish I hope the album flops, The Kings music does not whant remixing, why do you think it has lasted so long (like The Beatles), all his music needs is remastering like EMI has just done with The Fab 4, in the last 8 years he has had more hits than anyone else with the original mixes. We dont need this album

i do not like the video or the song. Elvis is most likely looking down from heaven shaking his head because all the junk that his music has been turned into. he was a great artist and performer and his memory is being overshadowed with this junk. my opinion.
