He felt like a fraud for cheating on her after he swore up and down that he wasn't like Massimo and Deacon and he did the most horrible thing in the world. He didn't wanna lose her. The moment Jackie hear Owen admit how devastated he was about hurting her she should have came out of that room and acknowledged that she knew the truth. It would have been so touching to see them face this crisis head on.
