  • Jonathan visits the Curaçao Sea Aquarium to learn about their dolphin program from George Kieffer, the head dolphin trainer. After taking George's dolphin class, he joins him on a dive with Annie, one of the dolphins that is trained to swim with divers on the reef outside the resort. Why don't the dolphins swim away? That's what Jonathan finds out!
JONATHAN BIRD'S BLUE WORLD is an Emmy Award-winning underwater science/adventure program.

I hope since then you have learned how cruel this industry is. While it looks like fun these are still wild animals. SWD attractions are notorious for having injuries from the animals. Stress of confinement and constant human interaction can cause them to lash out. By supporting these places you support slaughter and capture.

Dolphins are too intelligent to be in captivity for the entertainment.
These animals are smart enough to have their own names, understand sign language, have self awareness, and unfortunately can even commit suicide-not by accident.
It’s even debated(already known that they are at least almost on our intellectual level) that they could be more intelligent than us, imagine being stuck in a small space when your nature is to swim thousands of miles of open ocean with your family, and only living to do exhausting and repetitive routines for screaming people(dolphins are VERY sensitive to sound) , and being fed the same shit every single damn day.
We don’t even do this to dogs, and they are stupid as shit in comparison to dolphins(not that I don’t love those sweethearts)
And to even catch them, they have to use sound torture to freeze them in one spot and catch them separating them from their family.
It’s my dream to swim with wild dolphins, blue whales or whale sharks, but I don’t want it to be supporting a company that keeps them in captivity

It was only when we stopped the noisy motor (and our boat stopped moving) that they didn't mind swimming around our boat. It went on for some time until they swam away. In all it was a peaceful experience being around dolphins:):)

It’s not a huge deal in this case, but experienced divers tend to get touchy when people mess with their gear - at least that’s the trend I have heard! Thanks for the reply!

I like how the dolphin feeder separated the kinds of fish grades to feed dolphins and sharks separately?
I like how that dolphin instructor was giving special detailed instructions. Very intimate and professional friendly.
I love to see people share experiences that show playful acts with dolphins.
    Thank you so much💙💚❤️

A Dolphin is a wild animal and was not created to be trained for a source of income for man. Kept in enclosures or restricted! People like these men should be ashamed of themselves!
