  • Actual installation, putting the headlight bucket in a 1967 Corvette.
Apparently theres not any RUclips videos on how the bucket is rotated into place and bolted in? Or I couldn't find one.
Hopefully this helps with how C2 headlight buckets fit up into a 63-67 corvette.

I love the G3 Corvettes but they were out of my price range. I had a 63 Impala 2 door from 78 to 95, wish I'd never sold it; I watched all your videos about the Impala and was wondering if you still had it, now I know.

Hey Dan. Thanks for the headlight video. Just rebuilt the headlight motors on my 66that was pretty straight forward. Since I have my hood off was thinking of doing the headlight buckets.. The question I have that your video did not show is how to set and unscrew the lock collar on the outside of the buckets. Inside no problem. My current lock collars look they are rusted solid on the pivot shafts so I am hoping they will slide off when I take the 3 bolts out of the inside of the bucket. But how do you tighten the lock collar once installed. Do you have enough room to reach around where the headlight harness hooks to the headlight bucket harness? Thanks, and a recent subscriber.
