Typhoon Dora enters the Western Pacific Ocean - August 12, 2023

Typhoon Dora has crossed the Central Pacific to now get into the Western Pacific Basin. Is not expected to last too much since unfavourable conditions are ahead of the storm and gradual weakening is expected, making Dora to dissipate by the next 4 or 5 days.
Dora is one of the few hurricanes to cross all three Pacifc Basins

Dora has completed her second expedition of exploring all 3 basins. Starting as a tropical wave all the way in Central Africa, travelled through the ATL as 95L, got its name in the EPAC, crossed into the CPAC, and managed to survive into the WPAC, where her mission likely ends. What a storm, what a storm!
