He was so sick that he played 2 more games before taking a break. Like he could not communicate with the team for the entire game because he was so sick. He dominated the entire server that day. This guy is genuinely a beast, and even though there are games where he looks invisible, that's because he's supporting the team, like it's so fucking rare to see Leo ever go negative, he just gets few fights if he has a quiet game. I love this kind of statistics breakdown video! I imagine this took an absurd amount of time to make, and it probably wouldn’t be worth the time spent, but a video similar to this on the challengers scene to find out who might be the best pickups from that league might be cool. Also really enjoyed you’re fns video, I realized I was doing that exact same aim style but worse then fns, super handy
I thought on the last graphic you were going to mention how Leo and Less were FAR above everyone else, but i guess it makes sense since they do a lot of lurking as sentinels
I think EDG found a perfect team chemistry on a whim, they did horribly at Masters Shanghai but went on a full glow up at VCT just by replacing haodong with s1mon, who's literally a rookie in the professional scene. They came back and shut everyone's mouth with their cup and being the only team in the world atm to win 2 of riot's most prestigious championships that is Worlds (LoL) and Champions (Valorant)
Leo is just the best player in the world, but this year I was also blown away by Wo0t. At Masters Shanghai his performance was mindblowing, especially because of the fact that he got his legal age of 18 years for VCT this year DURING Masters Madrid (where paTiTek played for him). One of the brightest stars rising in Valorant with the craziest debut.
Honestly Texture and Zekken were really consistent this year. TenZ was overall a good player kills and assist wise. I think Riens and Patitek are the unsung heroes.
Amazing vid and this was so detailed and clearly researched. Im sure took a lot of time and energy. Thanks for making things easier for us and keep up the good work
For the kill impact stat, you might want to consider splitting situations by what side (atk/def) the player is on and whether or not the bomb is planted. It probably would not change too much of the rankings but there might be some players with skewed impact scenarios.
But you have to also consider the consistency and discipline required to continuously pump out impact kills over a huge amount games compared to a few... so take the primmie stat with a copius amount of salt. Obviously this guy is insanely talented and will have a great impact in the future but consistency is key and can make or break careers :)
I do feel like the deadliest player stats for once actually really puts duelist in a bad spot, they will likely have the most kills traded after entry and will have the least isolated fights as well as having their awp kills have lesser value. With that being said Leo and less are constantly talked about by pros for a reason lmao
where do you get all your stats from and how do you compare them with each other? is there a software that does that or smth? incredibly high quality content as always

If anybody is contender for the best player award for this year, I think it is only between texture and zekken. You can count the games with one hand where they were not the best player on the server. Players like Leo and Primmie have really small sample size compared to players I mentioned above, and for Zmijkk's case being totally absent in big games in Madrid and Shanghai might be an obstacle that denies him from pushing over the line
id agree im sick of people glazing zmjjkk because he played well in the finals but played horrible in the group stage of champs and the other two tournaments

Hey Platoon, I wonder what would happen if you also factor impactful deaths into the Impact Rating? For example, if someone often gives up 4v5 advantages, should that negative offset be factored into the rating? How hard would that be to implement? Soft of like how Box plus minus works in basketball. Haven't watched the full video yet but I'm sure its great like all the others.
Good question! I answered this in my video last year as well: I'm against adding deaths into the impact rating because that just turns it into a glorified k/d ratio. A player that got a first blood but was traded right after will have their impact counted as 0. Dying early will also naturally balance itself out, because if you stay alive longer in a round, you'll have more chances to get higher impact kills anyway. Deaths in Valorant are often a great thing because they can lead to space created or information gained. Missing a shot in basketball isn't the same because that's pretty much always bad. I get impact rating is not a catch-all, but that's why we have to separate by role/agent and combine it with support stats as well. One stat cannot tell the entire story of a player, but you can combine different ones to get a general idea of who are the best at each part of the game.
when you even start talking about the list of people who won isolated fights alone,we know every other major duelists would be there except aspas whos 90% kills were cuz of the best contributing players in lev,not saying hes not a good players, hes probably in that aspect best team player, but the scaryness of a player is defined by the stats that had leo at top
