This video just came up on my suggested videos list so it gave me the opportunity to come back and say thank you. I used these tutorials to learn AutoCAD 3D 5 years ago when i was working in a supermarket. Inspired by what i learned in these videos, i was able to go back to university and complete an engineering qualification and now i work as a senior mech. & piping design engineer. Whenever people ask me how i got so good at 3D i always send them to your channel, you really are one of the best tutors on RUclips. thanks again :-)

    Hi sir,
My DUCS is turned on, but the rectangles are still not aligned along the wall, but only along the floor.
I am aware that there is another method to manually align the UCS, but I would like to know if this method can be done correctly!

Good video. Very informative on the process. I learned some new tricks!
My one comment to add for anyone watching that is unaware, the commands LAYISO and LAYUNISO (Layer Isolate and Layer Unisolate) are much easier than manually freezing all layers, even with the shortcut shown. (Unisolate will turn on all the layers frozen with Isolate) (Isolate command asks to select one or multiple objects and keep those layers turned on, turning off all other layers.)
