Poor woman, she only loved a husband who doesn't deserved her. As always, you did a brilliant work on the video BCase. Thank you. May God bless you and your family.
Sorry Brief Case, but i can only watch videos after my work; and finished at 6pm. Have good week! Thank you
Thanks you too :)
@@BriefCaseOfficial No problem! Thanks for reply!🙏
Keep up the great work! I got so hooked when I discovered your RUclips channel.
I cant get any of my housework done cos I cant stop watching this 😂. The no nonsense narration of these historical crimes is fascinating. Breath of fresh air. Keep them coming 👍
Thankyou
I throughly enjoy all the work that goes into every video. I love the historical aspect; it creates a full picture of life during the period of time. I also like how you include the entire story starting at birth and progressing forward. Psychological growth and development can contribute to acts followed out later in life. Thank you for all the research that goes in.
Thankyou so much :)
The husband was to blame he did not show his wife any affection.
Thank you so much for what you do, it makes everything in my every day that I have to do so much better. Many blessings to you and yours.
Oh, yes. Murder is definitely less appalling than divorce
Christians make it hard to divorce. So many had to resort to murder to get rid of their unwanted others
YES! Thank you for making my Monday! It's 9pm here in Finland, and I am now going to relax and listen to your narration. Thanks again!
Your stories are good, I enjoy listening to them. Thank you
Thankyou so much :)
That poor lady 😞
Finally!! Something worth waiting for to watch!!! ❤️ ❤️
Thank you for your consistency in your posts! I binge watch your videos everyday. It helps me sleep/wind down.
How tragic and sad, I’m so addicted to watching these, thank you for doing these as it must take a lot of time and research.
Thankyou :)
Poor lady.Another quality video Brief Case.
Thanks :)
Sad to love a man who seems to turn away from you when you age a little , after all u r the same person .
Does anyone else just love it when he says ‘he died’? lol love his voice!
Thanks
Yes, me too 😄
Such a sad case. Love how this channel discusses cases that are forgotten or rarely knowned.
This is absolutely one of the mind blowing cases I’ve ever heard!!! Thanks B C for your awesomeness, and I love your channel Joyce P Ky USA 🇺🇸!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
This dude sounds like a keeper don't he?! Geees... Gets his wife preg. 10 times by the time she's 32 but oh I don't love you anymore, I want the young one now... Poor lady, too bad she's the one that ends up hurt in this mess.
Monday and yet another Brief Case. Always, as in always, hit the like button before the story even starts. If this was the 80's I'd say Brief Case, you rock!!!
So it seems the media's ability to sway public opinion knows no boundaries when it comes to time period or place.
in the past the appearance were all, you remained married with a person that you didn't love, it's like being separated at home
Life is to short! Who wants to live with someone who despises you? Very sad
Hi Oddie!!! What a treat 2 stories in 2 days. I sure enjoyed this story. Hope you are staying safe my friend. Love from OHIO. USA.
Hello, Sorry not Oddie but glad you enjoyed the story:)
Yes time to get out the old briefcase. Love this channel and content great work and informative will be passing this on to my other you tubers.👍
This was such a pathetically transparent crime that I have to wonder if he wanted to get caught.
Thank you so much for posting another delightfully creepy story I had never heard about.
This story reminds me of a 1940's Bette Davis and Charles Boyer movie called "All This And Heaven Too." One of my all time favorites, would you be able too find out if its based on this story? I am 100% convinced that it is. Thank You Brief Case!!!! Watching you from Zambia in Southern Africa!!!!
I googled inspiration for all this and heaven too, and yes, this case was it.
Aww poor duchess, all she wanted was here husbands love...typical she gives him 10 kids and he loses interest in her..shallow man... rest in peace Francois , you were too good for him...another brilliant crime story Brief Case, thank you xx
Thankyou
What a coincidence? I turned on to an old Black and White movie with Bette Davis today and this is the exact story! Interesting to hear it painting the Duchess as the wronged party, and also the movie says the Duke's poisoning was suicide. So another interesting angle. Love your channel.
Good Monday morning and have a great memorial day. Thank you for the distraction!
You are such an excellent story teller. Thanks for all the hard work you do in putting these videos together.
Thanks :)
I like the way that you narrate, calm and unbiased. Pity your not a news reader. : )
Thankyou so much :)
Very interesting story, and very sad. It feels so relevant to our own time, with spouses still trying to get away with murder. Thank you for these fascinating, detailed true crime stories from the past. Well done !! 👍

Another wonderful story. Thank you for such detail and great information.
Always happy to receive a notification from BC🖤Absolutely love your work🤘
I won't comment on the case, as it will be difficult not to use some choice expletives. Brilliant as always, BC! Hope everyone out there has a great week! 😃
Never been this early. Good listen whilst having breakfast!
What a mysterious end to a brief case! Really gets you thinking.

There's a Betty Davis Movie Called " All This and Heaven Too" about this story! If you are into old movies, check it out, it's a good flick!
Excellent material as always!!! thank you!!!
Thank you so much BC. Always so interesting . What a rogue that Duke was. Had a wife that loved him so.. until next week thanks BC . May you & everyone else have a good week & please take care.
Absolutely love your videos. So glad I found this channel
Thanks :)
I really enjoy your channel and your content i look forward to new videos. Thank you for all that you do.
Well narrated as always bc a sad tragic story of a lovely lady who only wanted her husbands love
Being plagued with headaches and light sensitivity I enjoy listening to these stories, that are so well done I don't have to look at the screen. People are fascinating to me. My only wish is that each story lasted longer, but that defeats the brief part of your offer. Thank you for sharing these stories.
Thankyou :)
It doesn't seem likely that Henriette was in any way involved with the Duchess's murder so I am glad her life turned out well.
I love your work. So interesting and cases/stories i've never heard of before. Very refreshing. Well done 👍👌🤗
Thanks :)
So the madamoiselle was SO INTELLIGENT, SHE SCREWED A MARRIED MAN? Not intelligent at all.
Well we don't know for sure that she did
@@BriefCaseOfficial why else would the Duke risk being divorced and shamed and ostracize publicly because his wife left him if he wasn't in love with or banging the governess? If it wasn't true he would have had no problem replacing her with a different governess. But he was willing to risk his reputation and marriage and be the gossip of society to keep her in his home. There's no point to it if the rumors were untrue and he didn't care about her at all. She wouldn't be worth the trouble.
It's 2020. Our heads are suppose to be echo chambers for the fascist left. So ... *ALL* feminae are/were stunningly beautiful and geniuses while *ALL* uomini are/were idiotic ugly fools.
(Of course it's preposterous political bullshit the collectivists use for social engineering as well as virtue signalling.)
Whitney Dahlin Exactly!
Taps fan There are vows married people take which include putting your spouse First!
This a true example. My husband (at the time) allowed his brothers wife to bite my breast in a fight we had in MY house! (Yes I went and got a tetanus shot.) He allowed me to leave and her to stay. Now who do you think was first to him?
No matter the reason why he wanted that one helper, or if his wife had health issues, his wife, in God’s eyes comes first. If not there will never be a peaceful union.
You can give a man everything.. your loyalty..love ..support.. devotion..kids.. and it's still never enough... so sad. 🙄
As always most enjoyable narration
Thanks :)
