This is the best colorway for using as lifestyle as well as running. It’s stylish, sleek and has the running performance.
I have a pair of cloudmonsters that I love and use for races but I'm ordering a pair of these for my everyday long runs...plus they look brilliant too
Love ur honest review bruv. ❤
Thanks for the video. I really want to love the On shoes and have tried two of them so far. They just died after 30K. There were no longer comfortable for long distance running. They are comfortable for both running and walking when you put them on but something about the midsole or the geometry diminishes quickly. Hopefully this one will be different. I look forward to your 100k review.
Thanks very much for your comment! That’s very much so why I bought them, I love to give new brands an opportunity to surprise me, for the better hopefully 😅
I will receive my pair next week, and it seems it will be a very good high cushioning shoes to use in this spring/summer where the temperatures are already running around 28°C to 35°C. The middlesole might not gather too much heat from the ground since the cloud tech hole thing, and the upper seems a lot more breathable than shoes like the Gel-Nimbus 25 or a SolarGlide 6 .
Also , as you mentioned, it should be good to use in raining days as well . This will be my first ON shoes I will try.
Which is better for easy long runs (On Eclipse or Nimbus 25)?
For me personally, I prefer the softer comfort of the Nimbus 25
I think it’s about time OC move away from the hole tech and make a solid mid sole running shoe, much better options from ASICS, Saucony and NB for max cushion. Thanks for the review.
How’s the fit?
I’ve had no issues with the fit, definitely true to size on the length, Some other reviews have said it’s quite roomy in terms of width, but I have narrow feet and have no problems.
I got this pair a week ago and I tried this for barely 20KM, and sadly to say it is way below my expectations. The midsole is hard, literally very hard for me to put on miles in it.
I agree that it’s definitely a lot firmer than what you’d expect a max cushion daily trainer to be!
Really unfortunate when you spend that much money.
