If there's anyone I feel sorry for that season it's Jenny, all she did the entire trip was babysit her girls, stop the roommates from screaming & fighting, & get stuck in the middle of everyone's dramas.
And had a miscarriage and I think lost a loved one too.

Sam and Ron's relationship has hurt everyone in the house. They've hit Jenny, they've hit Vinny, they've hit Mike, they've yelled at Nicole.
They were the most disgustingly toxic relationship I've ever seen. They were hurting each other and hurting people around them who had nothing to do with their problems.
this, this is facts, their relationship was so sad, my heart broke for sam bc she kept going back to him, over and over and over again, she lost all her friends and was stuck with an abusive boyfriend who cheated on her so many times, I’m so happy she’s healed now and much better

You can tell this was the season they realised they couldn't keep doing this. Mike's drug problem, Snooki and Deena's drinking, Ronnie and Sam. They were all just starting to hate each other.

Mike crying really just broke my heart, we all knew he had a drug problem then seeing him feel so alone because he isn’t himself on the drugs it was just so depressing , glad he’s in a way better place in his life now with his beautiful family
This was the most depressing season. Snooki was dealing with depression because of Jionni, Mike was detoxing off of pain killers, and we literally watched Ronnie be abusive to Sam the entire time. Also, Deena and Vinny were dealing with anxiety, Jenni and Snookie were fighting most of the season, and Pauly was just there lol. But yeah this season just got so depressing that I never even finished it. I feel like JS kinda went downhill after this season.

It’s worth catching up now and watching Family Vacation for Mike’s comeback story if not for anything else. He really turned things around after he got 100% clean and sober. It’s crazy watching the OG seasons now and seeing how he behaved. He was so strung out.

Snooki and Deena also seem so happy married, as mothers. I'm just happy when Sammi sees Ronnie, she'll have her bouncer boyfriend there to keep her safe from Ron's antics

I love Vinnie's family. Authentic Italian for sure. Reminds me of home and gives me a warm cozy feeling seeing the dinner table setup with the crazy loud uncle who makes everyone laugh to go with it. That's my uncle paulie and he wears the gold chain with the shirt open the same way lol.... it's crazy how similar Italian families are to each other and oh my god seeing the baked ziti, sausage and peppers, meatballs... GOD DAYUMMMM im hungry now
Coming back to this as adult, I realized we watched this show at a younger age to live the lives of the popular kids, while we were at home studying. You ever met one of those popular kids now? I'm glad I stayed at home, personally.
Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. You can live a healthy productive lifestyle, study hard, work out, eat right, and still go out and be social and party and drink and hook up if you want to. You don't have to pick one of the extremes.

This is tv gold…the casting director should win every award out there. We will never have this type of tv again. They didn’t need to script it they just produced constant content. The new seasons are wack but when they’re reckless, drinking, on drugs, and fighting was tv royalty
