Hey everyone i see another wonderful video about portbou Spain looking at natural view of the port city, people their culture and influence of art through an i rearview.
As I went through, during 17 century was discovered by Christophe Colomb and through 18 to 20 century this small port becomes a city of all powers as strategic point. France, Great Britain , United State they their foot on this land.
    Walter Benjamin's Connection
Portbou is famously associated with Walter Benjamin, a German Jewish philosopher. In 1940, while fleeing Nazi-occupied France, Benjamin arrived in Portbou intending to continue to Lisbon and then the United States. However, he faced difficulties with Spanish border authorities. Despairing over his situation, Benjamin died in Portbou on September 26, 1940, under disputed circumstances, believed to be suicide. A memorial to him, called Passages, designed by Dani Karavan, now stands in the town.
Today this town is touristic and as I saw through the video it is good to see the influence of nations in the art and history museum.
    Thank you Sara
    Finger cross for your success.
    Bahram,
