BFCB Revamped - HOME Episode 8.5a: “Lucid”

Context - Fries is now dead, and BF manages to break Puffball free from the darkness. The gang move along to try to find a safe place for shelter but end up running into a strange looking Flower. Only Ruby and Puffball notice something’s wrong with her, meanwhile BF goes to check if she is okay. Unsurprisingly, he gets pushed back by the corruption, so BF decides to start singing out of boredom. (And to maybe get something out of Flower?)

Events of HOME 8.5a [Lucid] :
After the evnts of HOME 7, corrupted Fries died and BF managed to save Puffball. Once the group made it to the ground, they were trying to find shelter. After a bit of searching, they saw a strange looking Flower, while the others were confused about this, Puffball and Ruby already knew what was going on. Due to BF being the fearless man (or object now) he is, decides to touch the glitching Flower, due to him glitching out, he decides to sing out of boredom, but suddenly, she reveals herself... Flower is aperantly corrupted which come to no surprise, the group lets BF do his thing which was a rap battle, thus the stakes begin to rise. After singing for a bit, fire decide to rise behind the group and Flower looked oddly different than before, but once they saw it, Flower became large and started to chase the group. Due to them having like two flying objects on their group, the flightless ones hopped on to Puffball since she can increase her size and can fit all of the flightless ones. Back on track, BF still rap battles Flower, but then they successfully outran Flower thus ending the battle.

I have a headcanon Ruby knows that Flower is looking off is because she was corrupted on top of Corrupted Ruby in HOME 5 when she grabbed BF.

I think it’s whoever is corrupted, when uncorrupted, still knows whoever else is corrupted around them, that’s why puffball is also suspicious of da flower.

I also just realized, in the thumbnail pen, lightning and BF are on one side. With half of flower in her ‘dormant’ phase, and ruby and puffball are on the other side, with her revealed self. They see smt we can’t.
