    This will be rather long but I have to tell you. First, my grandfather died many years ago on Aug 17th. He was the most important male in my life ad a child. He was on bad health and spent many hours a day on porch. Once during a bleak period in my life I was out there with him. We were not speaking, just sitting. Out of the clear blue he says, "You know, no matter how dark life may seem, if you can see a squirrel you know that it will be okay." When I looked he was watching a couple of squirrels running around and chasing each other. I had to admit that they made me smile. I have loved them ever since and after he was gone I slipped a toy one in his coffin with him. Secondly, I had a westie that ADORED chasing the squirrels. I sent her to the rainbow bridge just about a week ago. I will be getting this pack so that I can put one with her when I bury her ashes. Thank you for the bittersweet but lovely memories this morning.

    Here is my story… I just started felting. I was asked to make 20 bees for table centerpieces. I decided to try felting… I fell in love with this medium . I have now found your sleepy beasts and am obsessed. So glad I found you. Ordered some tool from you, and kits… to all that want to listen, they are excellent quality and plenty of yarn that makes it easy to accomplish your obsessions. I love you guys so much and get a tickle out of the jokes. Also you sense o personal f style is uplifting and unique. I designed clothing for 35 years in the garment industry in Los Angeles, retired and owned a clothing store for 10 years, so I know good style. Hope all finds you well, I notice the videos I watch are years old. Have a great day keep up what you do, will be ordering more kits soon.

    Love the jokes :-) If it wasn't for the squirrels and wild birds, I would have no friends. {and they don;t gossip) Am very taken by the appealing character you give your fiber sculptures, They are wonderful and kinna bring out the 'warm fuzzies' and an instant smile just to look at them. Thank you for your detailed instructions and thank your camera lady for her excellent filming. Enjoy your life in the country. It's a glorious way to live...

    A numerous story. We had a pecan tree on the. Order of our property, street side. It wasn’t thriving and we wanted a fence. So the tree came down and was completely hauled off like it never existed. My daughter come home from work and 3 squirrels were sitting on the. Rub across the street, looking at the place where the tree was. The one on one end looks over at the squirrel on the other end , like they were talking to each other. My daughter said she could imagine the one on the end saying “I know it was there this morning, it was your watch now what happened to it?”
    I really want to learn needlefelting. My granddaughters would LOVE these animals. They are country girls.

    Re. Bird feeders, I agree, feed all. But birdwatchers are not necessarily squirrel watchers.
    I lived in a home with a very very old native pecan trees. There were several families of squirrels lived there whole lives in that tree. Early mornings drinking coffee on the front porch watching the squirrels in their squirrel town tree.

    I miss the squirrels we don't have them here in Australia other than in the zoos I use to feed them in the park when we lived in the UK and it was fun sitting there so quietly so that they would come up to you to take the peanuts from you Mom even managed to take a photo of me with the squirrel taking the nuts right out of my hand my brother had to toss his to the squirrel as they would not get as close to him but I think that's because he would never sit still 😹😹😹 I will see if I can get a packet when I can afford one as well as the sleepy mice too 🤗🤗🤗

      @pattieboy5861 4 года назад

      Reta Per all the supplies can be purchased at Sarafinafiberart.com. The pillow is Called a ‘Stabbit Rabbit’ and you fill it with uncooked rice to felt on and chance rice out as needed, it Comes in two sizes, this is the smaller size. She also sells needles and great quality wool. All the wool needed for this project is sold in a kit in her Supply Pack section. Kits do not include needles or stabbing surface. She has kits available for most of her tutorials.
