Yamaguchi is such a bad matchup for ASY. notice that whenever Akane was able to inject some pace ASY always struggled. the problem with Akane nowadays is that she can't inject the pace consistently like it was in 2022 when she the clear best player in the world. she's been struggling with injury herself these last 2 years
@@alan887 True that's why she won in the end but if you compare it to 2022, the pace and consistency isn't really the same. I notice that when Akane lost to ASY, it's usually because Akane played too slow and couldn't really put enough pressure on her, also made too many mistake.
@@epoxone I don't think so. I've seen what akane looks like when she's fully fit and can play at 100% pace, and this is certainly not it True. I think ASY isn't moving like last year either but I think she's getting better now. I just feel like when both at 100%, Akane always pose threat to ASY more than any other player in the world, yes even more than CYF. it's a shame that she's been struggling with injury herself these last 2 years
