10:05 Some of my favourite little moments from their work has been Eric giving kisses to stuff, so I'm happy it makes him laugh as much as it's made me laugh over the years.
Oh boy. So, I had heard about Tim and Eric way long ago, but never saw anything they did. This has been my first exposure to their work and I am thrilled because I have been looking for something funny to dig my teeth into... and now I have this! I'm stoked!
Nothing makes me roll on the floor than seeing Will Ferrell shoot John C. Reilly again, screaming Taquito’s name before he even takes the shot, the shot sends a pizza slice flying and Tim Heidecker laughing out loud watching it again. 25:50
4:07 glad to see Tim and Eric love that line so much, it's one of my abs favs from Awesome Show. Also just discovered these (2nd episode I'm watching) and man what a treasure trove. Gonna be sad when I run out.
I love Jim and Derick's content. They really have their fingers on the pulse of comedy and seriousness. An insane duality that just works me to 😭 everytime. 👏👏👏
YESSS ANOTHER LAUGH ALONG I CAN WATCH A MILLION TIMES. I actually saw this one Bc someone had posted the entire reaction to the movie on RUclips and it was up for a week or two, and let me tell you I watched that thing sooo many times in that short space
I saw this movie for the first time when it came to Netflix not long after it quickly left theaters. i had not seen the show and I was not actually familiar with Tim and Eric's stuff when I saw it. I remember liking how weird it was, but its so gross you don't want to watch it again. Kind of like David Lynch's version of Dune. Watching parts of this now I may need to watch the movie again. I watched the show for the first time on HBO Max a couple years ago, and I've seen a ton of Tim's stand up and youtube stuff (like on cinema) over the last couple years as well so as I watch clips of this watch along here I get the references and I think I understand their comedy better now. I thought I did at the time, but watching this now there's a lot I was definitely missing.
I think this a brilliant move on Tim & Eric's part, as a lot of their material is fractured, meaning some fans of "Awesome Show Great Job" may not be aware of "Tom Goes to the Mayor", "Beef House", "Check it Out", "The Go Pro Show", "On Cinema ATC", "Bedtime Stories", the incredible "Tim and Eric Night Live", and of course all the specials and secret episodes ("Chrimbus Special"), and retailer-connected projects ("Absolut Tim and Eric", "Purple Boys", "Totino Boys"), and on and on. This will help familiarize them with the total Tim & Eric experience... the Conceptual Continuity, as Frank Zappa used to say.
Well, I told him right then Fido said It should be easy to see The crux of the biscuit is the Apostrophe Great way to put that, and I feel like there's a huge overlap of fans of Tim and Eric and Frank Zappa, or at least there should be.
I've seen all of those. It's easy to find. A lot of their internet stuff is on youtube (new on cinema has it's own website now), and most everything else is either on HBO Max or Amazon Prime. You forgot a couple things, though. Their book Zone Theory. Which may be harder to find now. I don't know. I haven't checked out youtube for it, but I have the book on tape version. Also, when they used to do interviews is also some of the funniest shit. Clown Town is still my favorite one, but there's a few of them. It reminds me of how Weird Al in the 80s and 90s never did a real interview. He always acted ridiculous in some way. It's kind of sad that Tim and Eric have never got all that much work so you have to find the other ways to get their comedy. But I guess that's what you get when you have such offbeat irreverent comedy that is hard to pin down.
@@cornbredx I mean, yes, I know about - and have seen - all that other stuff too. I'm pretty die-hard, as I are you, I assume. But this wasn't meant as a dick measuring contest! I just think it's yet another interesting way of monetizing their minutia, which is something T&E seem to be semi-decent at, even with what I have to imagine are diminishing returns at every return to the well.
Other than Tim's face the very first time he sees his new son, her delivery of that line gave me the biggest emotional reaction of the movie. Can tell from her acting chops she learnt a lot from the great Tairy Greene and his machine.
