• Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce bit.ly/3e7aaKb
• Bear and Burton's The W Sauce bit.ly/3jdBw8L
• Glass Dipping Bowl amzn.to/3Zg9bze
• Traeger Timberline 1300 amzn.to/3GIF782
• Metal Tongs amzn.to/3Iun7PZ
• Large Aluminum Sheet Pan amzn.to/3Vn3opt
• Royal Oak Charcoal Hardwood Pellets amzn.to/3gom74t
• 5.5 qt Smithey Dutch Oven amzn.to/3X4aIqo
• Metal Measuring Cups amzn.to/3GIJlfU
• Aluminum Pan amzn.to/3VTGMMi
• Plastic Ladle amzn.to/3k10pFi
• Thermoworks Silicone Pot Holders bit.ly/44AM0BV
• Thermoworks Thermapen One bit.ly/43qX2Za
• Blue Plate Mayo amzn.to/3Gq0lGz
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 1.75lb Chuck Roasts
• Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub
• 1-2 tbsp Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce
• 1/2 cup Bear and Burton's The W Sauce
• 1 whole Sliced Onion
• 4 Carrots Chopped
• 5 Celery Stalks Chopped
• Ciabatta French Bread
• Provolone
• 1 cup Red Cooking Wine
• 32oz Beef Broth
• 12 Garlic Cloves
• 1/2 stick of Butter
• Blue Plate Mayonnaise
DIRECTIONS:
1. Get your grill up to 275º.
2. Chop all your vegetables, this includes your carrots, celery, and onion. We didn't chop our garlic cloves.
3. Take your chuck roasts out of the pack and season both sides with Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub.
4. Place your chuck roasts on your grill.
5. Assemble your broth. Add your vegetables, butter, beef broth, cooking wine, and W sauce in a dutch oven. Sprinkle some more Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub over the top.
6. Add your pot to the grill with your chuck roasts.
7. Once our chuck roasts were hitting between 150-160º after almost 2 hours, we added it to our broth and let it simmer for another 2 hours. You want your beef to be fork tender.
8. Butter and toast your bread the last 15 minutes your chuck roasts are cooking.
9. After about 4 hours, we took our chuck roasts off the grill and shred them with two forks in a pan.
10. Add a couple tbsp of broth and 1-2 tbsp of Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce to your pulled beef and mix.
11. Assemble your pulled beef sandwiches how you like. We added Blue Plate Mayo, provolone cheese, and some of the onions from our broth.
12. Place the sandwiches back on your grill so the cheese can melt.
13. Once the cheese is melted, remove from the grill and serve. We had about a 4 hour total cook time.

Now that is a Man's Sandwich. I know i am considered odd but Chuck Roast may be my favorite cut of beef. I love it. I would gladly take it over a steak or Brisket any day altho i love them as well. Just my preference. I will be smoking 4 this weekend. Keep smokin.
Awesome, Mike! Hope you enjoy.
That feeling when you're on camera but you want to eat that meat right off the cutting board :p
All the time 🤣
Or lick the screen
I absolutely love your personality. I'm making these tomorrow!! I couldn't figure out if I wanted to make this or beef ragu with my beef, but you sealed the deal for me
Sounds great! I hope you enjoy!

Looks great, appreciate your video's. I have successfully made several recipes and they were a hit with family and friends. Your rubs have become my go to rubs. Haven't tried your sauces yet but plan on it soon.
Thanks, Rob! I truly appreciate that.
Great work Heath!!
Glad you liked it!
Heath. Oh. My. Goodness. I know you replied to my comment about my plans to make this today, so I'm back here to let you know how it went. I followed your recipe EXACTLY, even the 12 garlic cloves (minus the BBQ sauce) and I swear on my mother that this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. And that au jus?? I was literally drinking it like soup because it was so rich, deep, and flavorful. I live in a condo so I can't do any outdoor cooking, so I made this in a dutch oven on the stove - seared, threw in all of the liquid and vegetables, let it simmer for about 5 hours. I can't even imagine how much extra flavor yours had if my stove top one was that incredible. I shared it with my mom who only had three words, "It is fantastic." That means it is GOOD good. I dressed mine with duke's and provolone and I had to freeze the rest of my rolls because I don't want to late night indulge 😂 I'm so sorry for the novel, but I just had to let you know that this is the real deal and I cannot wait to make this again! Thanks so much Heath!!
Love to hear that! So glad y'all enjoyed. Thanks for letting me know how it went.
Looking amazing as usual brother💪
Thanks, brother!
That sandwich was looking great, then you put those onions on and took it over the top. Great sandwich.
Most definitely. Those braised onions were delicious. Thanks!
Heath you are a legend! Glad you dropped this video. I forgot to order another Beef Rub, I am almost out! Maybe I should get 2 bottles, would last me through the Spring haha. When are you gonna do a fish? Smoke a Redfish with your Cajun Creole Butter Rub, I did one with a Pontchartrain Sauce topping and it was incredible, nothing was left on the table.
That does sound good! I'm hoping to do some more fish or seafood for the spring.
Mouth watering!
Thanks!
Looks good man and I bet it tasted even better.
Very good!
Looks amazing Heath! Just did a picnic pork with your cherry and pecan rub, definitely a headshaker!! Keep em coming brother!
Thanks! Will do!
Love me a good pulled beef sandwich, of course you can never go wrong with your beef rub. I bet that ciabatta took it to another level.
Oh yeah. Toast up the ciabatta a little. So good. Thanks, man!
good job man i like it
Thanks!
Have to say Garlic Jalapeño Heath u did great there buddy I'm hooked.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy
Welp, I know what I’m making this weekend!
Oh yeah! 💪 Hope you enjoy
Man that looks amazing! I bet a little bit of horseradish in that Mayo would have been even better!! Going to have to make this….thanks Heath for the videos
Probably would have been good! Thanks for watching, Colin.
Heath I put my Chuck roast on the smoker and cook like it's a brisket....take it to 160 and then wrap it and take it to 203..give it a go some time....pulls like you won't believe
That sounds fantastic!
I'm making this now! What'd you do with the left over veggies?
@@HeathRilesBBQ you put the carrots and celery on the sandwhich???? Huh! Okay, thank you!
@@obsjpo Sorry, no. The meat was only added to the sandwich. You can use it as an au jus.
It's a slobber knocker for sure
Great choice of words for sure!
Alright, I thought for a minute you weren't gonna use those onions.....
Can't leave some delicious onions behind
Is w sauce same as Australian whosteshire sauce?
No. They're based out of Florida
Question bro, in your experience with ribs, are the Cheshire and better than Prairie Fresh? I saw cheshire having a sale on ribs, but if it's not worth the extra money...........??? Thanks
I prefer Prairie Fresh!
@@HeathRilesBBQ thanks brother!! Appreciate your time
@@tww15tube Any time!
I know I'm late to the party. My old man and made this this past weekend and he tried it and his reaction was just like Heaths at 12:11 lol told my dad take your time man after he was able to speak from the flavor explosion he really enjoyed it.. it's very good we did ares with pepper jack cheese and your Honey Chipotle rub with pecan wood smoke awesome flavor combo! As always thank you Heath for another great recipe
Love to hear that, Mike! Glad y'all enjoyed.
Looks dang good! thanks for sharing.. btw, you can never have to much onions! 😅
Thanks for the support and can't argue with that!
I went and looked at the bear and burton Worcestershire and it’s $10! Lea and Perrins is $3 and it’s the most well known and it’s delicious! Great value is almost as good. Unless a supermodel jumps out of the bottle and gives you head, I’m not paying $10 for Worcestershire. I’ll stick with the OG in Lea and perrins
Stick with what you like. This is my favorite W sauce. Why I like to use it on my channel.
Different strokes for different folks! I love the W sauce. It is a bit different from Lea n Perrin. I also like A1 "steak sauce. I don't always use it but it is always sitting right there! And as they say in the hood, "YOU do YOU BOO"! 😂😂😂
you ate the leftover meat while finishing the sandwich. admit it. :)
You would know about eating leftover meat
@@HeathRilesBBQ i knew i was correct.
