Very well made..saw a lots of nuances, lots of effort…good professional skill..! what it proves out was despite the climatic conditions, especially heavy rains in the rugged terrain, the train design, track maintenance stood out.. are exceptionally excellent quality...there was virtually no hitch whatsoever..you really held out during this long journey..!
Best of all..was the place where even the (so-called) Vande Bharat was also side-lined, bcos that Mumbai-Goa, section was single-line..! and there were at least 5 trains stacked..! So, just by introducing VB -- the suffering and torment of the passengers waiting, 5 trains x 18 coaches x ypassengers and the extra running costs for AC coaches! Hope the Railway Authorities explain this to the politicians..!
Those water bodies are the part of River pampa which drains into Arabian Sea at a place called as Thottapally in alleppey district near to ampalapuzha railway station.

Generally this Rajdhani Express departs from TVC at evening 7.15, but in your this video it departed at 2.40 noon.Can it be possible that train departs 4-5 hours early ? Are passengers well sufficiently informed about such an early hours departure ? Or this train has departed next dat at 2.40 noon so that passengers can be well equipped to board ? Has the timing changed to noon during all monsoon months ? Do/did IR does it every year ? If any passenger is busy in some company meeting,wedding ceremony,attending patient relative in a hospital,sight seeing on a vacation then how a passenger can attend/board early departure,how this train did at 2.40 noon instead of 7.15 evening ? Please clarify on all these points.
Every year in monsoon, trains are considerably slowed down in Konkan railway .. this Rajdhani departs at 2:40 pm instead of 7:15 pm during monsoon every year .. i have already mentioned in the video that 2:40 pm is the departure time of this train as per monsoon timings
Is it possible to make this rajadhani cover the entire journey within 32-34 hrs? Just by increasing the speed in certain sections? If this train starts at 2:40 pm, it should complete the journey by midnight, the next day.
The train and it's speed to cover the long distance is OK, irrespective of the single lane Konkan Route. But, the food is worse than all other trains. In my opinion this is due to the catering charges is also included in our ticket fare. We don't have any other option, whatever junk or bad food gets, have it. I am a Keralite settled in New Delhi for the last 45 years and used to travel few times to Kerala and back every year. Now, there are many superfast trains running from New Delhi/Hazrat Nizamuddin to Kerals. I travelled only once in Rajdhani express and stopped travelling it further, due to the poor quality of foods served. Now a days I either takes a flight or travels by other trains, in which we can get any food as per our order.
I am impressed by the cleanliness of Kerala railway stations. It's heartening to see stations maintaining like this in kerala🎉❤
