I've been creating event designs for over 25 years and have found that customers are more and more insistent that we give them an estimate before they will agree to meet with us. We've tried to nicely tell them that it take some time to find out their needs and folks have been actually getting mad at us. I know that if they are all about prices, chances are they won't be the right client client for us. Thanks for sharing because it helps to me to hold firm on not quoting "off the cuff".
You are so right. Thanks for this video. For example you have a bride that will fork 10,000.00 for a dress but want this 20.00 dollars bouquet. Please.😉
That's a good question and the truth is, I wouldn't apply a 5x markup to both flowers and supplies and then also add a labor fee unless your market can support prices at that level. And what I've learned from teaching my Flower Math course for 10 years now is that it's so important to understand the difference between the markups and the labor fees because it makes it easier to adjust your pricing strategy that way. A 5x markup, which some florists use as a shortcut is not what I suggest (and I do address that in my course!). Hope that helps a bit, but let me know if I can be of further help!

I guess I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to stream new tv shows online?
@Jase Clark I would suggest FlixZone. Just google for it :)
@Theodore Braxton Yea, been watching on Flixzone for months myself :D
@Theodore Braxton thank you, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I appreciate it !

So true! Just because someone overspends in one area doesn't mean I have to make something for nothing to compensate!

If you up price flowers and hard goods 5 times the wholesale price would that cover labor or would u add 20% for labor.
