I like the mix of C. Whiteheads logic for trapping Sonic in the boss zone and the Pinch mode that makes the fight a bit more challenging. Even if many will say still easy I say what do you expect for level 2? I started getting nervous when I first played in Spring Yard as he destroyed the platforms and the void scared me. Difficulty comes with progress so this wasn't over kill for Marble Zone.
