- President Biden said at a North Carolina rally that he will stay in the presidential race, despite his poor performance at the first debate with former President Trump in Atlanta. Mr. Biden acknowledged his trouble in the debate, while Mr. Trump took a victory lap at a rally in Virginia. While some Democrats dismissed suggestions that President Biden should step aside after his debate performance, others said the party should consider alternatives. Mr. Biden would have to decide on his own to leave the race. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez and Peter Alexander report.

It's merely a taste of reality. Joe Biden is an older guy and Donald Trump doesn't understand what a structured argument is.
The fact they need to clarify that he's still running after that debate shows how catastrophic it was for him.
DJT stock tanked 10.84% today. A Univision poll of undecided Latino voters had nearly all of them choosing Biden over Trump post-debate. As badly as Biden did, Trump managed to do even worse.

Disappointing would have been any 5 minute segment of that debate and it go neutral the rest of the time, that was horrible, and am embarrassment. We have chats, texts, and so on from people in the government, including the White House, that shows they knew this was going to go this bad, he isn't all that, and needs to be replaced.
