I've been banging my head against a wall trying to figure out queued message handlers on and off for months now. The official documentation might as well be non-existent. If anyone goes through the included pdf training, you'll know that when you get to this point, they just kind of give up and tell you to look at the example VIs and figure it out. Thanks for taking the time to make these tutorials.
