I can't explain to you how easy you made this. Listened to this song "for so long" and trying to learn it from just the page never quite stuck. Had down in like 20 with this vid. You're the man
Thanks again for these great songs you're posting. Whether Yacht Rock, or R&B/Soul/Pop/Soft Rock/Classic Rock, etc,, the last 50, actually 60 years have given us a lot to enjoy. They're fun to hear and learn on guitar. (I've got the 45s, LPs, and CDs to most if not all.)
Dave, you’re amazing! I love the striving for the exact sound and the all-important light-hearted humor sprinkled over it all. Props for singing with it too!! Cheers, Brian
Thanks mate first time I have seen a breakdown of that tune. I have listened to and enjoyed that song since it hit the radio and was a bit of a hit. I absolutely love the rhythm guitar in it and of just how it falls together so awesomely. To me it's one of those special ones that I never get sick of. Cheers good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Cya mate.
I love this song and the way you teach and play it. It sounds so gorgeous on that acoustic. I so badly want to play it because I have a similar vocal to Andy Gibb but it seems overwhelming to me.
What an awesome job you did on this! I love the intro and the part with A augmented. I mean I never get to use A augmented lol. You have a great channel here and I love the way you approach playing the guitar and interpreting these great old songs.
Gibbs wrote so many well crafted great songs I'm surprised more artists haven't covered them... I really hated the shrill harmonies from the Bee Gees and feel other artists could actually do better versions of these great songs if they were brought back to life
Very nice, but when you go to E11, I prefer E9, and instead of the A+, the A13 and A+7, one following the other going back to DM7 plays better. Also, they're not playing open chords.
I tend to not teach beginners especially those that want everything done for them. Feel free to put a little effort in and figure out the chords. Since i do this for nothing, you can understand why suggestions on how i can work harder to make it easier for you is not high on my list.
@@DavesGuitarChannel You’re extremely rude!!! And how do you know I am a beginner? And what is wrong with teaching beginners? Are you anti-beginner? And how do you know how much effort I have put into it? And maybe you should charge a rest for a donation, I’d give you a buck!
You tube has something for everybody. Feel free to go to other lesson channels. I won't be offended. I teach my style, if you don't like it, go elsewhere. I don't care what you're level is.
You are such a great Musician Dave, thanks a lot for Sharing your great talent with us, keep your Outstanding work 😊
I really love that beautiful song, Thanks Dave!
Now I can Finally play this Correctly.! .. Thank you Dave.! 🙏
I'm starting to get obsessed with this channel. Not only do I appreciate the instruction, but I'm impressed by the humility of the instructor.😉

The bass line is so much fun to play ! Barry Gibb is one of the greatest pop songwriters of our time !!!

Very Good Dave! Really Love the Brothers Gibb songs

Just realized calling it "LPs" (or records) is old school, the new term is "Vinyls"... thanks again

Por fin encontré una excelente lección de una canción emblemática. Muchas gracias

Thank you for the lesson, great Teacher!
Wish I had a dollar for every chord in this song !

Great tutorial!! Thank you
Awesome, Sir.
Dave love your stuff, think you might want to tackle blue-collar man acoustic by Tommy Shaw And Mr. Blades
... now this is where it gets tricky !?!? 😳
Dude, that was so cool!!! :)
great lesson. how about ...andy gibb-(love is) thicker than water? joe walsh plays slide guitar on the song.thx.
Nice lesson 🙂
Would be nice if you could show the chord charts in the background because cannot see your fingers
I really dig the guitar on this record... I think Joe Walsh played on this album but I don't think on this track
Thanks Dave!
Just saw this channel now. You earned a new sub. I will search your channel. I hope you have anything Dan Fogelberg. Thanks.
Hmmm I've done so much, I can't recall. I should do one.

Be nice if you explain the fingering when making chords and or shows some cord charts
It’s good that your naming the chords but without actually having a close up of your fingers and explaining what strings is there on it doesn’t help
Get a bigger monitor

I thought he did that song in open tuning like his brother Barry in open D
Barry certainly tuned in D live but on most songs i hear in the studio, i am not hearing an open tuned guitar.
Can you show the chords
Damn if Im being honest the hardest part of the song is the Rhytm...
I think most people have a problem with rhythm whether they admit it or not.
How about showing the chord charts behind you instead of just naming the cords that would really help
