- This episode is packed full of adventure! We have a bit of a sketchy incident upon our late night arrival and woke up the most rolly anchorage ever. We move into Luperon and set out on a grand adventure for Aj and Nelly's last few days. We rent motorcycles and ride over to a well known spot in the DR called 27 Waterfalls. Complete with hiking, ziplining and waterfalls! Then we rent a car and make our way to the capitol of Dominican Republic - Santo Domingo where we enjoy land life at an airbnb before saying our goodbyes.

Wow, so glad you are getting a chance to explore! Santa Domingo is such a historic place. Would be so cool to be able to be standing in such a place and imagine the original days of the new world and the sailors/explorers who voyage to and from there.

Well you told the truth about some of the down-sides of cruising. What a nightmare. But I have to say the rest of the video made up for it. I think the 27 Waterfalls of the Dominican Republic is one of the most scenic places in all of your travels that you have shared with us. Also the city of Santa Domingo was gorgeous. Makes me want to visit the island.

Cruising fun. You don't have to be on a boat for that to happen. I had an under the influence dude visit the front door of my house one night.

Finally !!, I appreciate all the videos that came before, the work put into the boat and all of your travails and troubles are inspiring to watch but it feels like you are finally getting some of the payoff.

Canyoning where you were, brought back some good memories.
White water rafting was the best.
We had......
7 boats of 8 people
1 boat had 3 FAT Americans and a pilot.
On one of the last water fall drops, we had pulled to the side to have lunch and the last boat that came down the drop was with the Americans in.
They fell down onto the flaw of the boat and like big turtles they could not get up.
There was the entire group trying to right these Americans....I'm sorry but it was the funniest thing I have ever seen.
Well hope hope you got to explore and get to the ppl and what you expected then your in there country and merengue bachata and even reggaeton is part of there music as as well and thats a party area

DR was a refreshing change from stodgy Canada when we were there, no local safety narcs whining about helmets and seat belts, if you wanted to wear them go ahead, if not, no one cared, except for some overly regulated Canadians that didn't feel "safe" without them and wanted to enforce their views on everyone else.😕
